I figured as much. I haven't opened any Topps hobby boxes since 2020 and don't recall seeing stamped numbers.

I think Rittenhouse is the only company that actually numbers their boxes.

I think they had to replace Lyles last minute, but still, what a terrible performance by the men.
Luckily the women picked up the slack. Richardson with a killer finish!

The first guy being the mistake is especially bad, would expect top athletes can count from the gun to 9 seconds for when they start

They did replace Lyles but he wouldn't have been running in that first exchange. Kung Fu Kenny took off way too early and had to come to a complete stop, absolute mess

I didn’t notice that when I placed my order. The two cards also have a special rainbow foil photo variation short print cards in addition to the usual parallels.

I love this set, but just started. Serious question though. We all know prices will fall drastically after the games end. How far and how fast do they drop? How far down do you all see hobby boxes dropping, since you can get them for $150 on eBay right now? I wouldn't mind picking up a case towards the end of the year to bust open and have some fun. Possibly for $1500 or below? I'm also going to build a master set and at least the base refractor sets along with picking up certain color refractors and autographs but will wait until prices come way down.

Singles prices are already falling hard. Sets are selling for $30 and the last master went for $120. If it wasn’t for seller stubbornness, boxes would eventually fall to $100.

There are a lot of boxes still selling at the current price point, there are just still a few sellers/shops out there who are sitting on 100+ boxes so it’s a matter of how long it takes them to sell out. I bought 36 from one of them the other day to rip. The low print run, on card autos of the few big names, the Dynasty set, and how relatively easy it is to pull a “big” card should at least prevent the boxes from tanking.

I do feel the bigger name autographs, especially of athletes who don't have any other autographs, like Ledecky and Xander should remain high dollar for a long time. I don't see any card companies coming out with USA swimming cards every year anytime soon and even golf cards are pretty rare.

I want a lot of the autographs of athletes who rarely sign, but I don't want to pay the prices for them now. I would love to see boxes get down to around $100, so I can hopefully pick up a case or two to open.

I don't think that is true at all.

I would be buying these at $100 all day long. I've opened about 10 cases of hobby now, and all but 1 case returned strong (or better) value.

It’s interesting that Xander hasn’t been in an upper deck product yet. If he never does that would definitely help the value of his Olympic cards.

I wonder if there's something in his contract that he can't sign with Upper Deck. Even if he eventually gets UD-signed cards, I still think the Chrome will remain high. People love shiny cards and color cards as well. I wish Scottie had signed cards in the Chrome set.
