6000 points as the floor is just absurd. Panini has essentially removed any potential upside to buying their products.

Consider, this; the current...."conversion rate" for Poopnini points is around $.035 per point. At the opening bell (eg.12,000 points per pack)....that works out to approximately FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS A PACK!! The floor (eg. 6K points)...TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS A PACK

What an awful idea. Incredibly short notice so you can't go acquire more points. Ridiculously high bar to clear in the first place. I have enough points to realistically get one pack but not two, unless it hits the floor. If anyone has unredeemed points they can give me in the next hour as a buffer that would be cool, otherwise I'm probably looking at striking out waiting for the floor

I basically have enough for 2 packs if they come close to floor. I'm willing to use up all of it since I actually collect Optic and don't think there's much else to spend the points on

Ummm.. sad. I prob wouldn't even be a buyer at the 6000 point floor price. Maybe if it was for Prizm with 1/1 Auto potential, but not for Optic. Good luck everyone opening packs. Seems like Wemby (or top superstar) or bust.

The only way these won't hit the floor is if Panini does what they do on FOTL now and only sell 50% or less of the print run during the auction. If these were 6000 no auction they'd be there for 3 hours.

I got 3, used up all the points I had. i figure this may be one of the last best things to get. If a prizm sealed pack is 6-700, these should be 2-300 at least.

yeah Prizm are $600+ and Select are $400+, these should definitely be $300+, especially because prior years are $150-200. the short notice kills me I was actually wondering when they were coming out and contemplating stocking up on more points, but with other packs switching over to cash recently I didn't want to have too many otherwise worthless points on my account

If you look at what Panini has done with points now it's ridiculous. They are charging above market or market value on everything. In the case of these packs these cost them almost nothing. Is their total cost with no autographs even $1000? If they charged 3000 points instead of 6000 is Panini losing a single penny? Yet yeah let's keep selling almost every box of every hobby product for a fraction of market value. The average football and basketball pro uniform product Panini loses 7 or 8 figures on every product. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. They could sell in the same quantities and to probably the exact same people to recoup almost all of it. But no let's instead just charge more for everything else that won't even come close to making up for the hobby box underselling.

These packs cost 6 times what they did I think 5 years ago. FOTL there are floor prices that are even higher than 6 times what they were 5 years ago. You think Panini has increased MSRP on a single hobby product by 6 times or more? Of course not.

Optic is probably the worse of the white sparkle packs, with select cosmic the best because of the much smaller set size and without all the filler rc content.
