Agree, Jokic has the winning pedigree, Wemby is still a puppy. USA found that extra gear that they can turn to. Serbia was the first real game where they had to do more than just shoot jumpers and go one on one against scrubs.

Love the game. Only here can you grab guys making 60+ million each and have them work together passionately. The end scene with Lebron, Steph & KD was something you only get from a game/experience like this. The world is getting much better, they had to empty the tank today and still only barely won.

My group has been having a lot of extra tickets but not tonight so I had to stand for the duration. Other than that, awesome. Saw Michael Rubin, Bronny, Pelinka and JJ, Dell Curry, and was asked for help randomly by Brad Stevens and I didn’t know the answer to his question lolz

I don't get why they are giving Book so many minutes either. Feel like putting in Tatum would have been so much more useful than Book on the defensive end with his length, especially when they started needing to stop Serbia's attack.

They lacked urgency in the first half, and that's where I think Tatum (who's actually played excellent defense) and Edwards would have given them a spark.


Regardless, it worked out and I expect a cruise ship victory against France.

I was about to pull out my post about Tatum and Haliburton being among the guys who went the furthest on the current team, and those who could organize a systema, but I guess ISO bully ball, sharp shooting, and sheer in the end greatness trumps strategy.

And I am overwhelmingly relieved to see the most interesting teams in the finals. Ant was not wrong to dance the shimmy after going 2 for 9 or whatever. Man, if France can hold its own, Wemby holds value and the hobby breathes a collective sigh of relief. Every kid in a pretty big country is gonna want to admire pops' encased investment piece. And that trickles on down to lesser known emerging players.

I sometimes wonder if having a card in the same class as a great helps. Like everyone know the Kobe rookie year inserts, so they know what is good in an Iverson, Nash, Allen, Walker, or Canby. Brandon Miller fans rejoice (nah, scratch that... Ant has no effect on dub A prices).

The Pacers just got bumped from a Christmas Day showdown against their natural rivals, the Knicks, by (get this) the Spurs.
