I think Elly gets the “Joey Votto” treatment. He’ll get the massive contact. Everyone will probably be traded at some point.

Elly has already mentioned wanting to play in L.A. He's as good as gone once he's able. I would love a long term deal for him immediately. But again, Boras won't have any of that.

Turned a routine ground ball into a “triple”
Rushed throw due to speed for an error.
Steals second, poor throw to 2nd advances him to 3rd.
Elly’s dynamic caused 2 errors putting him on 3rd. Pretty impressive

3 extra base hits tonight, including a homer. He also had a little league triple that was scored an error.
