Not if you have cash. I say the same thing I did on Saturday. Great tech companies are getting a steep discount. It’s time to buy. Just make sure you scale into it. Never know how long this downturn can last.

I did rebalance my 401k a couple times in June/July run up so I’m sitting on a nice fixed position but still wished I moved more aggressively into fixed in early July.

I was able to get into Fidelity on the web, but not the app. Fortunately, I put a buy at the open order in for NVDA this morning.

Action looks as expected so far. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see this sell off hard in the afternoon.

Was able to get into Schwab before 10. Been down since then for me.

My combined taxable and Roth stock accounts are now back to May 21st values… so about 2.5 months of gains wiped out in last week or so.

EDIT: and I’ve had no problem accessing my etrade account today… which is odd because that usually goes down when market is falling or a meme stock is taking off.

Modern day version of run on the banks and the banks locking the doors. Real convenient all these issues with people logging in on a day in which their is LOTS of volatility.

In the old days (2008 meltdown) they’d give out free trades when the website went down. Now that’s moot, so not sure what the modern equivalent would be. It is discouraging.
