10 year old redemption for a Steve Nash Logoman 1/1 auto

So I have a redemption for a 2013-14 Immaculate Collection Steve Nash Logoman autograph, a true 1/1. I pulled the redemption myself and redeemed about 10 years ago. The ticket is still open. After all this waiting, I know I'm not getting the card, and am now looking at getting a replacement, which I requested last year from Panini, with still no action. So I'm now resorting to meeting them in person at the National. I have an appointment on Friday. My question is what should I request in return? Closest comp I could come up with is a 2014 Immaculate John Stockton Logoman auto which sold on Goldin back in 2022 for $22,000.

Checklist says Lakers. FMV is probably something like $7500.

I freaking realy hate redemptions. I am sitting on 2 Doncic auto redemptions i pulled (1 out of Obsidian and one out of Contenders) and don't want to redeem them because I fear never getting them.

So for those who have been following my other post regarding a Panini redemption card fiasco, I ended up with 5 National Black Boxes. Long story short, I pulled a redemption card for a 2013-14 Immaculate Collection Steve Nash Logoman 1/1 auto, and had been waiting 10 years for it. The Logoman is live and somehow, someone other than me received it. I've enclosed a photo of the card I should've received.

When I got to the Panini booth, they didn't even look or ask what redemption I had, just went into the back and brought out 2 Black Boxes. I told them no way in heck is a Logoman worth only 2 boxes. So they went back, and brought out 5 total boxes. They said they opened the boxes, and assured me that I would receive close to the value of the Logoman. At this point, I've waited long enough and accepted the offer. Walking around the floor, had multiple people asking if I was selling them. Nope, I'm going to open them up. Here's what I got:

2021-22 Flawless Anthony Edwards Draft Gem Signatures
2019-20 Eminence Steve Nash Hall of Fame Autographs
2015-16 Nikola Jokic National Treasures RC auto
2020-21 Impeccable Anthony Edwards Rookie Signatures
2020-21 Impeccable Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Elegance auto

All autos are on card and have a stamp and sticker stating it's a 1 of 1 on the back, but i don't consider them true 1 of 1's. The Jokic is by far the best card, and probably his best RC. The Nash is a green parallel and would normally be numbered to /3, but for some reason isn't in the stated checklist. I comped the value of the cards and it's probably a little over $10K, so I'm fine with that. Just glad this whole sad situation is finally over.

How do you think I did?

Glad you are happy with the cards from the Black Boxes. I have a similar Problem (but with a way cheaper card) its about a Ja Morant Auto /49. I'am waiting over a year now and in the beginning of the year those cards just popped up on eBay. I asked one seller how long He was waiting. He told me He recieved the card as a replacement for a luka Auto. So panini sends cards to people who dont have a redemption for it and they dont send it to people like me, with a redemption. No answer of the Support aswell. Unfortunatley Iam fro. Germany and dont have the Chance to go to the national for a replacement.

That's terrible. Panini needs to make that right. You can't get a Black Box unless you go to the National. But you can get a White Box, which is essentially the same thing.

that’s hilarious, send out your redemption to someone else whose redemption wasn’t made, now they’ll send you someone else’s redemption who will eventually get someone else’s, etc.

I'm surprised they haven't gotten a lawsuit yet for manipulating redemptions. And they have a pallet of White Boxes that are top tier and another pallet of White Boxes low tier.

While it's better to get something than nothing, the 2013-14 Immaculate Collection Steve Nash Logoman autograph 1/1 still beats out the 5 white box 1/1 cards.

But you weren't going to get the former so at least you got something.

For a Panini rep to tell you that you received equivalent value of the logoman auto 1/1 is BS though. With 1/1s, the price is set by the seller. Since only one exists, and only one buyer is needed to complete a sale, you can't accurately price that (even with comps from other players or even the same player but different product year).
