Freakshow 2.0 - 2024 Pittsburgh Pirates - Let's Go Bucs!
3-0 start with a chance to sweep the Marlins tomorrow. Jones looks like a legit front-end starter. Bats are awake early. Pen looks great and Bedenar hasn't had to work much yet. Very promising start!

This team is in shambles. Last 20 they are 5-15. Cruz might lead the league in strikeouts this season. I could hope they turn it around but the bats are ice cold. On a positive note skenes might get called up his next turn is Sunday to pitch which is Bailey falters spot in the rotation.

Back to being awful. That escalated quickly.
Arguably one good position player right now in Hayes and he isn't exactly great. 0 HR I believe. Bednar looks like he has regressed. Cruz does not look like a SS. Hitting I can't say because a ton of guys are struggling. |

Due to the recent play I think this thread deserves a bump. What a home stand taken 2/3 from the Phillies and 2/3 from the Cards. I hope we do pick up a strong bat or 2 by the deadline.

Great series win against the Astros. Big week of games coming up after a few good trades to shore up the lineup. I think the next 3 series will give us an idea if they have a shot to catch the Brewers.

I've made it to a couple of the games Skenes pitched this season & the atmosphere in the ballpark is something I haven't experienced there in easily a decade. It's nice to see competitive baseball back in Pittsburgh. Hopefully they can keep it up.
