When my grail card popped up in 2015, I dragged my feet, waited too long and somebody else bought it. Searched and searched for the next 7ish years and pretty much resigned myself to never seeing one again.. Then last year, while scrolling through Instagram, I saw one in a lot of cards that the seller was getting ready to list on eBay. Over the next two days, I messaged the seller and did everything I could to keep it from getting to eBay, cause I knew I wouldn’t be able to compete with others. Luckily, we fot a deal done.

My grail card in my collection is my Yordan Bowman Sterling Auto Super.

The grail card I'm after is the Topps Yordan Rookie Platinum.

!!!

Khal rolls in a different echelon. PSA 7's up really start getting pricey for well centered copies with good eye appeal and presentation.

I'm boring.

2019 Gypsy Queen Matt Olson superfractor.

Pretty sure it's still entombed in overpriced wax. No idea why wax for this product is priced so high. I can't imagine anyone ever buying or ripping it. But I just want that dang card.

I used to own two grail cards but sold them both and I’ve regretted it ever since.

It's tough to say, because I have several different areas in my collection that I want to pursue. So, I got various different grails that I want to acquire in the future, if possible. Some are just out of my price league, and others are just not available.

One of my niches is Gwynn's early years. I became aware recently of an "error" card, basically a blank back, of a Gwynn rookie card. It's Pop 1 in Beckett. I would like to find this grail at some point in my life.

I was lucky to buy this before eBay started charging tax. It took me a while to save up for it, but now it’s the grail and corner stone of my collection:

This is what a PSA Generation 10 Flip looks like:

Your Flip is missing a cert number, and barcode on the front. It's also missing a QR code, cert number, and barcode on the back.

I'm sorry to say this bro, but I think your Flip is a fake, and not authentic from PSA. You bought it on eBay? Did it go through Authenticity Guarantee?

It’s likely just photoshopped out of the pic to not put identifiable info on it for an online forum. So scammers can’t use the image to sell for a scam etc. I assume he’d realize by now if it didn’t have any of that info on the physical slab.

Anyway, that’s definitely a grail card for sure!!

Great card Reggie!!! That’s an amazing centerpiece card with great color and registration. For me having an absolute bedrock iconic vintage card, as the centerpiece, is the way to go. My PSA 6.5 ‘54 Aaron fills a similar albeit slightly cheaper role for me!

Happy to see you think similarly!

I photoshopped it out. Many years ago, I found my 2009 Bowman Chrome Mike Trout Auto photo on eBay: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1322998

Speaking of PSA I recently won a slab from the PSA ebay account:

https://www.ebay.com/str/psa?_trksid....m3561.l161211

We're talking about a card under twenty bucks with a less than stellar grade. I'm not a fan of graded cards so I cracked it like I do most slabs (even 10's). I've cracked plenty of PSA's and this new one was a softer plastic, less brittle/snappy. I'm not part of this grading world but did PSA announce they were changing the plastic formula? This thing was an absolute nightmare to crack and with how much it flexes you risk damaging the card.

Yeah they released a new slab in May.

https://www.psacard.com/articles/art...e-new-standard

It had issues so I believe it's not being used right now until they fix them.
