Ichiro autos today

I bought the green /25 first, contemplated pretty hard on going for the 1/1 as well or not, then it sold out before I could make up my mind (which was good).

Then I added orange /10 to my purchase.
The orange border goes so well with the rising sun in background.
Could not pass it up.

Yeah, I'm kind of regretting not grabbing the Orange instead of the Green. Oh well, always happy to add a hard signed Ichiro to the collection.

There was a red /5 parallel also, that either did not show up initially or was added slightly afterwards.
It was still available after all the other parallels sold out.
Price was $550 for that one.

I wonder if the series itself is not successful and they've ended it.

It seemed like a fairly poorly received set with lackluster efforts by Topps and a whole lot of poor choices in cover tributes.

I think if they made the sets all high end with autographs, hand picking better cards, it could have been a nicer set.

I was on board for the 1st 10 cards, hoping they'd get better, but the cards were worst than when, I think it was Fleer, just had them as common cards in packs, and not premium (expensive) releases as Topps has them now

New cards are up - Rod Carew and Rollie Fingers

I have always be a SI fan and enjoy collecting some of the covers. Have a couple of the issues that have been turned into cards in this set. I really enjoy it and appreciate the fact that it is a finite manageable 70 card set released weekly.

If anyone has the Dale Murphy in Canary Yellow /25 or Red /5 and you're willing to part ways with it, I'm a more than willing buyer. Trying to complete the rainbow as I have the Silver 1/1, Orange /10, White with Red Stripes /70, and Base /1084.
