Yeah, I never sell my cards, but man, I am tempted. I can't imagine these prices will ever be anywhere near this high again. If I had even the slightest interest in turning cards into cash, I probably would.

I am so broken hearted. I had about 300 2020 Bowman Chrome Draft, and 75 Refractors of this kid in my boxes for years. I passed by them numerous times over the years, hoping he would get hot and get called up.

Well, he did, and I cannot find these bloody cards. I think I MUST HAVE thrown them out by accident. Ive looked everywhere about 5 times and just cannot believe it. Ive held on to players like Ian Anderson, Robert Puason, Kody Hoese, Michael Toglia, Ed Howard, Jeter Downs.

I know I threw out a bunch of stuff awhile ago, I dumped alot of cards in the garbage, like AJ Reed, Blake Rutherford. I must have thrown them out, but Im so confused because I had a chunk of other Hinds stuff in my box that I kept and even about 25 base chromes too.

Ive turned my apartment upside down for 2 days and they are not here. I must have thrown them out. OMG Im so bummed out.

Shocking, indeed. This dude had a .699 OPS in Triple-A when he was called up. And he’s struck out 39% of the time in his minor league career.

No denying the amazing start to his MLB career, but paying that much for his BCA when that could money get you a considerable haul of Gunnar rookies seems…misguided.

On, he’s due for regression, but it’s been fun to follow. Maybe he’ll find a nice balance going forward. I wouldn’t pay big money for his cards at this moment though.

I know how you feel. I must have done the same thing as I was in a 5 case break that had the reds for 2019 Bowman Draft and I knew I sold the autographs but I should have still had all the base chromes and huge stack of refractors but I cannot find them. I either sold them all and don't remember or I threw them away when I was doing my chrome purge a couple of years ago. It's odd to me as I have all the other Reds from that set. So not sure why I would have dumped the Hinds and kept the rest of the players.

Congrats to Rece Hinds who was just named the NL Player of the Week. In his first week in the bigs!

He hit .423/.464/1.192. A 1.192 slugging percentage!!!

He also set multiple records. In his first six days he had nine extra-base hits, five home runs, a game that included a double, triple, and home run, had a grand slam, and he had a multi-home run game. No player has ever done that before…. over any 6-game stretch. He did it in his first six games in the big leagues.

Rece Hinds was the first player since Major League Baseball began tracking home run distances to hit his first two career home runs over 445 feet. His eight extra-base hits in his first six games set a new big league record.

Only two players have hit more home runs 449 or more feet this season than Rece Hinds. Shohei Ohtani has six of them. Aaron Judge had four. Hinds has three. The other two guys have played in 90+ games this season.

What a debut week it was for Mr. Hinds!

That's fantastic!

I own exactly (1) box pulled Rece Hinds card - 2019 Leaf Metal Draft 'Black' autograph #'d 5/15 (not the prettiest of cards but still a Rece )

Hinds is having an amazing first week or so and the Reds have some really nice young players. Hoping Greene can cone around the way Lodolo has. Steers is a guy I really like as well. The Orioles and Reds ate set up nicely for the next decade for sure

I don't think you know what "at best" means.

Had a Hinds Pro Debut auto that I couldn't seemingly give away for a few bucks over the past couple of years. You better believe I listed and sold that for a nice price as soon as he hit that 2nd long HR.

Sure am glad Bell has Hinds sitting on the bench the last 2 games. Wouldn't want to let a hot hitter get too hot. Reigning NL player of the week doesn't even get to play this week. Have I mentioned how much I can't stand David Bell?

After being terrible in MLB, he went to Japan. He was terrible there, so he went to Mexico. He seems to have found a home as he's crushing it there. It's a shame he never learned to recognize a slider. Because if he could, he could crush the ball and had a legendary arm in right field.

.253/.389/.986

I think any team will take that in their lineup.

My first and last player break…good grief that was a terrible decision.

Multiple SP’s.

Multiple SSP’s.

Tons of autos.

$800 smoked, just like that.

Shocked the Reds gave up on him so fast. Granted he has a blazing start to his call up and then hit a slump but let the guy play and see if he can figure it out.

I mean, he's still hitting .316 after his "slump."

I think it's ridiculous to send him down at this point with lesser players on the roster. But to be fair, his callup was supposed to be for one game until Slater made it to Cinci. Slater was traveling and couldn't make the stadium in time, so they called up Hinds. He just forced them to keep him up until he cooled off. Unfortunately, Slater was unsurprisingly not worth the wait.
