What's interesting, is that this card was offered up in a FB group a few months ago for a quick sale, as the seller needed the funds...and it went for $2K CDN (I actually just missed the post by a few minutes, as I was interested).

Really surprised by that, as it looked to be in pretty good condition. Anyways, I don't know if it's the same guy who initially bought it, but clearly it's been cracked and don't blame him for moving it raw.

Maybe more like superfractor/gold refractor/regular refractor. Or kind of like how Topps has Black Borders and Gold Borders. Yes, I know OPCP exists and that's technically the chrome product. Since PMGs are parallels of an insert, and not the base set, I don't think it's an apt comparison.

My guess is it’ll land around 3600-3700.

I'm betting the Bedard is on E-pack. Think about how much attention that would draw to E-pack across all corners of the hobby. It would be a smart move by UD.

Edit: Plus, I have to imagine it would be easier to control WHEN it is hit on E-Pack vs Physical. I have no evidence to substantiate this, but like all things on the internet, we'll always wonder because we'll never know how packs/boxes/cases are given on E-pack.

A long time ago on a podcast discussing the product. Now, the real conspiracy is they intentionally put the checklist on ePack as a consolation prize.

The conspiracy is I thought print runs across e-pack/physical were supposed to be random. I mean who would use e-pack if you knew every 1/1 was in physical boxes? However due to Bedard-Mania and the fury it would cause given physical box prices they made sure to put it in physical. Them putting the checklist in e-pack, that isn't surprising the controversy to me that no one seems to care about is the precedent it sets for the future when massive cards are in products that have physical/e-pack. I don't do well on e-pack anyway but I wouldn't be touching S2 knowing there's no shot at the "golden ticket", I hit a YG so I'm not dissing those ripping packs for that but that's my approach to it.

Respectfully, if he's going to be as definitive as he was in the first statement about a card with a $1,000,000 bounty, and that is partially responsible for driving the wax price to the irrational levels where it was and still is today, .....hinting at it just doesn't cut it. Stand by what you said or definitively pull it back and go on record with a correction. If you can't do either of those two things, you shouldn't be out there saying things that could impact cost/value
