Anyone run across the issue of getting upcharge email, approving then it continues through steps without ever switching images to scans in slabs? Still the arrival scans. Took a little over a month to finish, other order in same box took a week longer for same service level.

I don't think it has anything to do with the upcharges. It's just PSA not working through any kind of flow for any given order. Have had instances like this but no upcharges so most likely someone just not doing their job.

What is going on with assembly? I had an April TCG special move to assembly complete on 5/28 and grades still haven't popped. I emailed them late last month and they assured me nothing was wrong with the order. Super frustrating...

Yeah I have talked to them a few times about orders and they keep saying nothing is wrong but orders are sitting. I would light a fire under their ass by calling. Its the only way you can get them to do anything email takes forever.

I also had a 2 card Regular order that arrived on June 24 and grades popped on July 3 but I noticed there was a piece of debris that was probably inside the slab. I reached out to customer service and they said they are looking into that. Has anyone had that happen before?

It's the new slabs they rolled out. My last order popped after 3 weeks in Assembly complete. I ended up with half the cards in the new slab with a plastic sleeve and half in the old slab unprotected. The orders are going backwards you just don't see it.

Do you have any irregular sized cards in the order? Could be an issue finding an older slab to fit a card so it's on the sidelines until they do.

Dang!!!!! I gotta think yours is on the cusp of updating as well. There was an order another posted on here that showed delivered after mine, but it hit order received before me. It’s just totally random. They got them all sitting in a giant cart and they randomly grab one. There’s no order there.

I have a bunch of orders to catch up on here:

Sent five orders at the $16 May special, about 50 cards for each order - all of equal quality just broke it apart to minimize the grader of death risk. All five were received by PSA on 5/13/24. Four of the five flew through and popped in mid June - these four I got grades that were fair & as expected (60%-80% gem rate, the rest mostly 9's and a few 8's). The fifth order popped on July 1, but was actually the first of the five to enter assembly and sat in assembly for 3.5 weeks. The gem rate wasn't too bad on this fifth one (50%), but this order had about a dozen cards that were 4's, 5's, 6's - definitely weird since there's no way I blew that many and none of my other orders that were of equal quality had less than an 8. Orders sitting in assembly too long usually are not a good sign, my guess is PSA damaged those dozen and that's why this order was the first to go into assembly but the last to come out. As for the new slabs - it was strange - one order was all the new PSA slabs, 2/5 were a mix of the new slabs and old slabs, and 2/5 were the old slabs.


I submitted another four orders for the $16 May special that got extended into June. PSA received all four on June 12th and all four are sitting in "Order Arrived" and haven't moved into R&ID yet. Probably won't be getting those back until September.
