The PSA app shows both orders are in "Order prep" but the website shows the status as "order arrived"... is the discrepancy between the two normal? or is "order prep" the same? Its been a couple weeks since it arrived. Not sure if it should bee in research & id now or what? Any insight would be appreciated.

Managed to put together a July NFL Special so we will see if I have them in hand before the season starts. They estimate 50 days so it will be down to the wire.

Are the assembly dates the date it goes into assembly or the day it gets the checkmark?

What the heck is happening over at PSA? All the May 50 business day specials are popping and I am not even in grading yet? Anyone have insight?

I have a vintage special that went into grading a week after I submitted on April 1st and it is still sitting in the grading status. Estimated completion date is at the end of this week. My insight is PSA doesn't care and you will get back your cards when they want to send them back.

The update i posted was when it completed assembly, but the other stages where when it changed to that stage. If that makes sence

Yours was scanned at the Newport Beach post office within a few minutes of mine, so I'd be shocked if it isn't at PSA.

i wish i knew. My subs have been stuck in "order arrived' status for a couple weeks since it was delivered.

Well, I got that to look forward to, I guess. It sucks because you just know they're going to fly through the grades, to get it out in time, and I'm gonna end up with either a 30% gem rate or a 90% gem rate.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but my last five or so "special" submissions (all ultra-modern sports) have gone to NJ. Not sure if that's becoming the norm or just a fluke.

wasn't sure where to post and didn't want to start a whole new thread. Was watching the Blabbin Bout Slabbin PSA reveal on YT and they had a card that received a 5 in a previous sub that they cracked and resubbed and it came back a 10. Absolutely insane how horrible PSA is at consistency. Great they finally got the grade they deserved to start with but sucks they essentially had to pay an upcharge/resub fee to get it because the first grader was that incompetent.

Or the first grader got it right with a serious surface issues and the second grader missed it. The problem is that they are grading cards as fast as they can and any consistency goes out the window.
