If he's going to leave GS, I'd like to see him there. Luka could get him some good looks.

The only person who mentioned CP3 was the guy you later replied to. Who exactly did you think you were talking to, who thinks Chris Paul is still good..? And then you got shirty about it... Haha such an 'old man yells at cloud' situation |

PG to Philly makes them instant title favourites and I hate it. Yes, he doesn't tend to turn up in the playoffs but it gives them such a better roster. And I hate it. Gomiamigo does not deserve to be happy.

There is no way Philly's better than Boston even with a hypothetical PG.
Tatum, despite his shooting woes, is still younger and better. JB is far better than anything Philly will roll out at the 3. And Boston's defensive backcourt still trumps the Sinxers by a large margin. I mean just look what they did to Rie+Lulu. What kind of value will Maxey bring if his scoring is throttled? Essentially you still run into the same problem having to rely entirely on Embiid's health and carrying every aspect of the squad. Whereas Boston can have any one of 5 different heroes any given night. Not even close, and I'd love for someone to dethrone Boston myself.

Pacers will be that team. They almost were this year and are basically younger than the Celtics were when they started their run three years ago.

PG13 to the 76ers. Now they have 2 oft-injured, loser stars.

This east is very intriguing now. My top 3 would be
CELTICS SIXERS KNICKS THEN these 5, not in any particular order… PACERS BUCKS CAVS MAGIC HEAT

I think herkenstein would be a great pickup by a lot of teams, assuming Knicks can’t pay. They were floating thunder yesterday and I thought that fit would be nice

The trifecta of Kawhi, Harden and PG was so clutch and successful, how can the Sixers not mirror those same dynastic accomplishments?
Just give them the title now and save them the trouble of trying to hit the magical 65 game cutoff for all awards.

Paul George picked a team that has the #13 retired.
PG13 is no more

PG during his 5 season tenure for the clippers averaged 53 games a season with slightly above average stats and no real post season success. 53 million a year over the next 4 years?

Gordon-Drummond-Jared McCain is a great start, now we fill that in with some min contracts like Oubre last year, maybe Melton back at a discount given his injuries last year [and RoCo].

Given that he didn't cost players or picks, getting him for some of Josh Harris' cash was a great use of resources, plus they still were able to give Maxey his max deal. The 76ers entered the offseason with Embiid, Paul Reed under contract with the understanding Maxey was always getting the max. That was it, that was the only players they had. Now they have a real team that can contend for a title and are finally off the Tobias Harris contract, PG is only making like $4m more this year than that anchor that crushed the 76ers' hopes every year. And now they can add more quality players with those picks we saved. And PG and Bona add some much needed athleticism and bounce. 76ers were playing at a 66-win pace with Embiid last year. Having PG takes the pressure off Embiid having to play every game for the Sixers to have a legit shot, as we all know that is unlikely.

Paul sucks, Klay sucks and PG is overrated. It seems like nothing big has happened yet.

The Pistons have reached a two-year, $52MM agreement with free agent forward Tobias Harris, sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski

Reed can't play next to Embiid, and it wouldn't surprise me if they just drop him to add another $7mil in space for someone who's a better fit. Or better yet find a trade partner. They also still need a better true SG (like Gary Trent Jr.) and secondary ballhandlers.
