I don’t like Soto or Judge leading off. Soto has been much better with guys on base. And Judge is too powerful to not have guys on base.

The multimillion dollar question indeed. Like I said, I have no idea how it would go down and it probably won’t (just rumor mill stuff), but man it would make the Yanks lineup fearsome. Khal, I like it either way as well on the lineup, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a threat on the other side for walking Judge and Soto back to back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think that would be an overpay without an extension for Vlad

When you adjust for position, Vlad has barely been a replacement level bat as a 1B for the last 2 years. He'd be an upgrade because what the Yankees are currently trotting out at 1B is absolutely pathetic, but there's probably better options out there considering some people still harbor inflated ideas of what Vlad's talent level is.

How does this guy get fastballs anywhere near the middle of the plate?

It's an optical illusion. For years he was getting screwed with a ridiculously oversized strike zone. Finally getting respect from the umpires and we're seeing the damage he can do when pitchers are actually forced to throw strikes.

I noticed 2 2017 Chrome Orange '87 10 autos were bought BIN a few weeks ago. Now this Red BGS 10 has hit auction tonight. Guess people are trying to strike while the iron is hot #@♂️

Just started buying some Judge low to mid end RC cards and I am new to collecting Judge.
With that being said....those that have collected Judge for a long time do you plan on selling now seeing this as a new peak...or is right now a new peak with more to come in the future if he hits 60 HR and wins another MVP.

I'd make the argument that Judge's "peak" was in 2022. That was a season for the ages and more than a few flippers made insane money on him during that time.
I don't see him repeating that ever again. Could be wrong though |

I’m a firm believer that Judge hasn’t seen his peak yet on the rarer desirable stuff. I’m holding anything Judge regardless of if it spikes or not in the short term. When the dust settles, there’s not going to be many players from this era as memorable as Judge. Ohtani definitely falls in that category as well.

Just looked at his homeruns by zone and sure enough most of them are in the mid sections. He has no homeruns from the upper part of the strike zone which is interesting and only 3 on the corners.
