It has been a while since I have bought or sold anything card related aside from stuff for my 9 year old who loves collecting "cool looking" cards of the top players in all sports. He loves digging through dollar boxes at the local card show!

I was recently digging through some of my old collection and found a couple Bowman Chrome First Autos of Gunnar from a break I was in a handful of years ago. Didn't even realize I had them as I don't think he was a massive hit back then. I also need to search through some boxes to see how many non-autos I have from that break which might be worth throwing into a top loader.

I need to decide if it is worth sending the autos in for grading.

I don't typically grade cards unless I am trying to sell/trade them for something that fits better in my collection. I havn't sold anything in years so not sure its worth the hassle to get them graded if they will just sit in a box.

If you all were famous baseball players would you put a little extra effort into signing your superfractors? I think I would. Just curious

That’s just what his signature looks like these days. I wouldn’t want him to sign his supers different from how he signs his other cards. In general, most players signatures look like scribblely garbage these days due to being asked to sign literally thousands of cards from Topps/Panini, paid signings through dealers, and fans at games.

I’m still waiting on my 2023 bowman gold auto that’s a redemption. It’s the one with the pic of his first home run where his helmet flew off. I honestly wish this was his Topps chrome rookie image instead. Could’ve been iconic. Anyway, Topps said it didn’t pass quality co trip, so they have to reprint it, and get him to sign it. One year later…

The derby launched JROD onto the national stage a couple years ago (and he had a really good 2nd half that year).

I’m (personally) more interested to see if Adley participates. His switch-hitting performance last year was epic.

My new Gunnar pickup. Not as cool as Matt’s, but it’s a fun insert, RC logo, numbered to #/75, and in really sharp condition. I’ll take it for $25.
