Just this year. As an NBA Draft nerd, I don't like it and hate it even more because the 2nd round is in the afternoon so I'll be at work and miss most of it

I don't see the point of it since while some guys do come from the 2nd rd, its used by a lot of teams to save cap space by drafting intl guys that aren't coming over.

That's fair but I legit have no idea what he thinks is sad here.

Sad that players are coming out early? Sad that the draft is being dominated by Euro players?

At first I thought they were trying to prop the draft up like the NFL one..or maybe capitalize on the Bronny hype but they're just sticking it in the middle of the afternoon

I think he’s going to a good situation and it was a good pick at 17 for the Lakers.

Apparently the Pacers are supposed to draft Bronny and trade him Nesmith and Shepard to the Lakers for DLo or something.

(edit: wishful thinking).

College Basketball in Massachusetts isn't big. If I lived in the Carolinas maybe it would be different. But you knew players and teams because they played 2 or 3 years with teams.

There is nothing to pay attention to the way the NCAA is run today

You have an incredibly appropriate avatar for the way you seem so triggered about how prospects are making their way to the NBA in the modern world.

What is the take on the French guy the Hornets drafted?

Are they really just trying to hope someone in this mid-class turns into Giannis ala 2013? I heard the Spurs wanted him and decided to trade out once he was picked.

Wemby was from France so now the whole country will be drafted

Also someone said Tyler Kolek compares to Jason Preston. Not Brandon from 90210 apparently he's a bench warming guard in Utah.

What an odd comp

How embarrassing. The Lakers could have just signed him, because he wasn't going to get drafted. Lol. LeBron running the front office as always. They'll be battling to get in the play in again

100%

And it’s an awesome moment for LeBron and Bronny

It’s still embarrassing for the league

Both things can be true
