Yordan.
.956 OPS (MILB), 1.067 OPS, .958 OPS, .877 OPS, 1.019 OPS, .990 OPS, .877 OPS
ROY, Title & Career .578 SLG & .963 OPS

He's a victim of the Supply/Demand equation with all of his cards coming out during the boom but aside from Ohtani & Judge his numbers stand above everyone else. It'll take time to weather the Supply of his RC cards til they become a little more rare, just like with 2001 Pujols & Ichiro but his prices to me are clearly the cheapest relative to performance and accomplishments.

Yordan’s issue is the Astros and position. Small market with a bad taste for a lot of collectors and he’s mainly a DH.

People say this but I actually don't believe it, know a lot of neutral fans who like Yordan and have a few cards of him. There are also guys who do very much collect/invest in him. It's the Supply/Demand issue. He was the 2019 ROY, Topps had months to prepare and he was the centerpiece of so many 2020 Topps Products.

Yordan: Yes, the Astros stain is real (See: Tucker)

also as Mike pointed out he is in 2020 products, which have the pandemic production pump attached to them.

I dislike him as a player but am baffled at how low his prices are compared to the upward trend of his career, from an already high floor

Wait, there are baseball cards that haven't dropped in value the past 2 years!?

Agree, both overall and personally. Even setting aside Houston's issues, I've got no love for DHs. Get a glove or get lost.

It was pre pandemic boom. Maybe earlier than that

He’s had my attention for a while. Grabbed these cheap. Wish I would have gotten more.

Nice! Well done!

I have also been accumulating his cards, not only because I like him but also in anticipation of him leaving Milwaukee. Might win or might lose, but I'm playing this game.

I don't expect him to be the next Johnny Bench, but he's a Force and there's a legit possibility that someday the world will notice. Right now he's pretty cheap.

Love those pickups!

Edit to add: Both of those are freaking cool but that black atomic makes me giddy.

He’s also unfairly lumped into the 2017 Astros cheating team. He wasn’t even in the MLB as an Astro in 2017. He was in their minor league system. Same for Tucker.

What are you even talking about? I'm thoroughly confused on how anyone would describe Houston as a "small market". Because that description isn't based in reality.

He’s been mentioned here several times ~ Yordan. Between being an Astro and a DH, his fantastic and consistent stats are just completely lost. I PC him, and will continue to keep buying his undervalued RC singles and Wax until his prices catch up to where they would be for just about anyone other than him.

I’m in DFW. In the baseball world any market other than a legacy market (LA, NY, CHI, STL) is overlooked as a small market. Been that way since I got into baseball in the 80’s. Gotten better with new technology and media, but the legacy markets are still the most influential.

Probably at least double those prices. He probably has 1 Topps auto for every 100 trout has available on the marketplace. I don’t think I’m exaggerating.
