The problem with the argument of wax being undervalued is that you have to hit a really rare monster to come anywhere near break even. I know this is historically the case, but it has become exasperated with base PSA 10s plummeting across all modern. The floor is really, really low.

Furthermore, I'd think the price of higher end would need to go up more (which it is, slowly) to even partially substantiate that needle in a haystack chance. An example is TC Sapphire where the base #700 PSA 10 is going for $3K range and fall one every 7-8 boxes. A box is over $3K. I don't see anyway the boxes go higher without the best cards being worth more.

Oh, also USPS lost my package that had a PSA 9 US1 Vintage Stock /99 in it. Won it for around $500 which is a huge win and it never gets delivered (despite showing delivered). Ugh.

The term undervalued has been thrown around a lot lately, but really everything is just going back to reality. Except for wax prices that is...

Thanks, but not really holding my breath. Bad track record for undelivered items that don't come within the next few days after. That said, please keep an eye out for an out of place US1 Vintage /99 .

Takeaway is that there's still deals out there. Luckily this was just one of a handful.

Sir, this is conduct unbecoming such an esteemed individual as yourself. Please try to do better, thank you.

Contact your mail carrier or local PO. They can tell where it was scanned as delivered. It's happened to me a couple times and it's usually at the same address just one street over. Don't give up!

I like your tracker hammertime, that’s cool.

Sho is on pace for 392 total bases. I hope he can get to 400 by the end of the season.

This very reason that I made REAL nice with our regular mail carrier....to the point that I had her cell phone and if a package wasn't received I would text her. Her regular day off was Tuesday and the amount of times a card was mis-delivered on Tuesday was absurd.

I'd leave small thank you's in the mailbox for her a few times a year and it was so worth it when I had cards coming in almost daily.

Borrowed from the Spanish word for fire, fuego is used in English as a slang term for something “excellent” or “sexy,” with the phrase en fuego expressing something “on fire,” or “performing extremely well.”

This argument has no weight when looking at the history of sealed product as it's always been that way. Look at 2009 Bowman Draft and 2013 Update when Trout was peaking. It was Trout or bust. At least 2018 Bowman has the consolation prize of a base Ohtani if you don't hit the auto. But still given the history of sealed wax and Ohtani's current status 2018 Bowman should be going higher, especially when compared to how healthy wax is in general on the new junk.

Furthermore, I'd think the price of higher end would need to go up more (which it is, slowly) to even partially substantiate that needle in a haystack chance. Agree, which is why 2018 wax is the best wax investment out there right now.

Where can I buy TC Sapphire boxes for $3K? 2018 sealed Sapphire boxes are $12K, not $3K.

Absolutely...we leave a cooler with cold drinks out every day for our mailman. We exchange Christmas gifts...he's almost a member of the family.
