He’s on-track. As much as any player his age can be on-track. No lock by any stretch, but I believe he’ll slowly work his way there.

Even as a Sox fan, I'd say he's got a lot of work to do.

7 years, never a top 10 MVP, only a 2 time all star.

There's a lot of counting to do to get to some of those counting stat milestones.

I agree, actually. He does need to have one or two monster seasons where he wins an MVP and puts up big HRs totals with a .300+ AVG.

Altuve? Freeman? Doubtful, but who knows?

I suppose Devers has an outside chance down the line.

My guess is Soto will be the next to reach 3K, but even he will have a tough time, mainly because he walks so often.

Freeman and Altuve may both have a chance at it near the end of their careers. The’ll need around 140 hits per year for the next 6 years. Not impossible.

Xander has a chance if he plays out his Padres contract. I think he's at 1600 so needs about 140 per year.

Unfortunately, he's having a down year. Bichette is another one I think has a shot, but he's another guy having a rough season.
