Yes the Celtics had a weak run to a title, possibly of all time. The Mavs were probably the best team they faced.

Yes they are also a great team. They've been there before, their stars are young, they have incredible vet experience.

It can be both.

Don't forget about 2018 when Tatum was 20 and Brown was 21 and they took LeBron and Cavs to 7 games in the ECF and almost beat them. They have been at least to ECF 6 out of Browns first 8 years and 5 out of 7 of Tatum's. So I'll expect them to have several more shots in their career. And the C's pass the Lakers for most titles even though they shouldn't be counting the 5 Minnesota titles.

We're glass half full kinda guys. We don't dwell on woulda, coulda, shouldas. The fact is, right now as the best team in the NBA the entire season, we sealed the deal and closed out as CHAMPIONS. Let's consider all the regular season top dogs in the history of professional sports, who choked and did not deliver.

We kicked ass in the regular season and continued to kick ass until the clock hit zero in the final playoff game. The rings will be as real as any other ring issued to champions before.
