My wife showed how big her balls could be today. She was at a company class for new managers and was paired with a mentor that happened to be my friend and the past Program Manager of my current contract. This guy is a Director right below a Vice President. He asked her how things were going and she told him about the issues going on with the prime contractor Team Lead on her contract. She told him that her boss (and mine which this Director chose to be his Site Lead there) that she needed to put "her big girl pants on" at times and take care of issues more aggressively.
