It's not quite as bad as it sounds. But it sucks.
I responded to a post here looking for owners for a league. I paid, I learned the league, and I participated in the draft. A couple weeks in a trade is made that does not involve me. Yandy Diaz for Tanner Houck. The league allegedly votes to have it sent to RotoUmp and RotoUmp denies the trade saying that Yandy Diaz is great and Tanner Houck is trash. I tell the league we don't have to overturn the trade. There is no legitimate reason to do so. They overturn the trade anyways. A few weeks later the commish makes a trade for Yandy Diaz. At this point I think it's a "make-up trade" after they screwed the guy out of Houck. Both teams agree to a trade. Then suddenly, the trade disappears. I ask what happened? The commish says that during the voting period either team can back out of the trade. This is not in the rules. So I ask if it didn't go through because one of the teams backed out, or if a certain number of vetoes automatically cancels the trade on CBS. I receive an expletive-filled voicemail at 3am. The commissioner, without warning or official ruling, REMOVES me from the league. He first says that I will not receive a refund b/c I broke the rules and am not entitled to a refund. It was never explained what rules were broken, nor why I was removed from the league other than he considers me "a shirt-starter." Eventually, someone convinces him to fully refund me. I realize this is hard to believe and that there are at least two sides to every story. And that's fine - I am not looking for sympathy. But this is absolute garbage and I don't want anyone to have the same experience. Do I have any recourse here on blowout? |

Worst case scenario is that someone else is duped by this user here on blowout when we could have prevented it. |

Name and shame would be better than nothing. I am not really sure if BO can/will do anything if you were refunded, but at least putting a username to it could help prevent other users from having the same experience
