Arrow Justin Jefferson PAID son!

JJ's soon-to-be favorite target JJ signed a 4-year extension worth $140M with $110M guaranteed. He becomes the highest paid non-QB in the NFL.

Per Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero:

Now they need to find a QB to throw to him.

Great googley moogley.

That’s a lot of bank for a guy who doesn’t have the ability to affect every play on offense.

So the center should be paid the most?

Yes. He should be paid 200 million per season, at least.

No surprise here. I was assuming he would get 5/175 with 100+ gtd.

Price of the WR just keeps escalating at an amazing rate. Lamb and Chase are both going to want 35 per year also

George Pickens will break 40 a year.

Hell yeah. Love to see it

"But who is going to throw him the ball"? The guy put up yardages of 84, 141, 59, and 192 in his final 4 games last year while shaking off a midseason injury with Nick Mullens and Jarren Hall throwing to him. He's going to get his yards even if your favorite BO poster is his QB. And nobody seems to think Kirk Cousins is any good, and JJ was consistently fantastic with him, so if JJ McCarthy is even just ok, Jefferson is going to continue to put up elite numbers. All that while often being double teamed and opening up space for other guys on the field

Vikings still have a lot of holes to fill before being a legit threat in the playoffs again, but you just don't let the best receiver in the league get away. No regrets for this no matter how the contract, or the Vikings as a whole over the life of the deal, plays out

Incredible receiver. I think Minnesota made the smart move. 2 years of a pretty low cap hit and then room to restructure.

Don't forget Tyreek.

I know he's talked about retiring early, but with the money being handed out (and the mouths he has to feed), I can't see him turning down a crack at $35-40MM a season as long as they'll pay it to him

We will see his numbers suffer this year and then people will see Cousins wasn't the problem.

Let’s go! I was 99% it was going to happen, but that 1% was honestly keeping me up at night sometimes…still a ton of cap space left for next season too.

I think Hill is out of luck getting paid in Miami again. At his age and still a couple years left on deal why would Miami want to pay him again. Let him play out contract then walk see if he can find a team willing to pay him 30+ million being a player past 30.

3 year $110-$120 million with $80 mill guaranteed seems like a deal he could get. Might not be in Miami but I agree he’s not walking away from that.

Yeah, I'm not saying it needs to be Miami...

He'll play out '24 and likely '25 in Miami (Doesn't make sense for them to cut him just to save $11MM in cap space.

But '26 there is no guaranteed money and the Phins will save $45MM in cap space by cutting him. By that time he either has a new deal or tests the market. My guess is at that point someone offers him a Deandre Hopkins like deal that's short term, but for pretty big money.
