There is still plenty of last year's product for basketball sitting on shelves at wal mart and target collecting dust here. Mainly 2022-23 Mosaic

these went from target exclusive just a few years ago to now found everywhere including walmart and hobby shops and the price has doubled. i feel topps and fanatics really ruined the value of these. anyone know what the number of boxes produced in say 2019 and 2020 versus 2024? it must have more than quadrupled.

Historically I’ve always loved opening some Megas. Always were fun. But I wouldn’t buy one of these now with your wallet. Beyond a rip off. Disgusting.

Same here. Still ordered a small bunch this year to rip, and can still sell singles to recover a good chunk of the cost for a run rip. Won’t do Topps series 2 since series 1 was meh, and only other items I might rip this year will be Topps Chrome and Bowman Draft.

My 3 boxes, aka 6 Mega packs, yielded a green Holliday auto redemption plus two RC color. No big name mojo base though.

I might pick up a couple more if I see some on the shelf, but probably not going out of my way to order more.

For those who preordered megas through Lids or Fanatics, have you received shipping notifications or a delivery? Ordered several from Lids since the Amex promotion brought them close to blaster prices.

No shipping notifications here. After getting my blaster preorder before release, I was hoping to receive these around release day before the Target and Walmart onslaught this weekend.

Based on my opening 2 to 3 jumbo boxes, 15+ blasters, and hearing stories about hobby boxes I would definitely suggest either doing a jumbo box or blasters. Jumbos definitely have the bigger hits from an auto and color perspective, but the hobby boxes have a great price to value ratio. You can buy about 18 blaster boxes for the price of one jumbo and both are good for pulls.

Ordered May 8th and got shipping notification today. Fanatics says estimated delivery is June 3rd but it is just showing "Label Created" with LaserShip so I don't really believe that date yet.

Ordered 3 boxes from Target well after ordering from Fanatics and those already arrived.

Pulled a Dylan Crews Navy /175 out of one of the Target boxes. Can't imagine doing much better with these next 3 from Fanatics.

Was in target grabbing stuff for my kids birthday. Mega’s were stocked and I could tell a few were bought. I left them all for the kids. First time I ever saw them near release and didn’t pick up one. That was a fun time in 2017-2019 though. $15 bucks a box plus the toy coupons. What a time!

oh man, Fanatics is using Lasership??? they are the absolute worst. They are the discount courier. Adidas used to use them. Their twitter page used to be hilarious just people losing their minds in replies to all their tweets with packages not arriving.
they actually even changed their name i think recently , or plan to, with the bad publicity they received last couple of years. bootleg , no background check drivers stealing packages became quite routine.
