I know he's out for another season but as a true fan of the Braves, I'm still a collector. Here are two I picked up yesterday on eBay and Facebook. The BGS is the only one graded by them. Considering cracking it out and sending to SGC.

P.S. I still collect Freddie also even though he is no longer with us. He will always be a Brave.

As much as I love Acuna I do have a decent amount of Juan Solo as well.

I am active in that thread also but not many from this one are.

Yeah, I'm in on Acuna as a collector; my bat down is still always going to be a relevant card to a collector, in my opinion. I pulled most of the cards I have of him on my own. They are special to me, and he has already done special things.

I will never regret keeping it.

I lose nothing if his cards go down because I have no intention of selling.

I've been collecting him since his cards came out in 2017. Share the same sentiment and pulled a few of mine as well. I remember picking up my bat down for $20 off eBay, it's now a PSA 10 and staying in my collection.

I've seen the bat down cards dropping even before his injury. From $850ish when the
season started to $600ish when he got hurt. Could $300 be a possibility?

I think so. I think a lot of folks will jump off with the prices still reasonably high.

As inflation stays high and living expenses get costly, people have little patience or tolerance sitting on a card that will only decline in value over the next 8 months while waiting for a player to return.

2 have sold today with best offers accepted, $510 and $575. I'll have to get one should they get down closer to $300.

I don't have a bat down either...would like to pick up a raw one this off season if they get below under $100.

Unless he Rae Carruth's someone, bat down isn't going sub $100. He's out the rest of the year, not the rest of existence.

A raw bat down sold for $103 on May 12th. And $132 on May 18th. It certainly has a decent chance to dip below the $100 mark.

Agreed. You are living in a fantasy world if you think they can't drop that low.
Ultra Modern has a short attention span for most. Most are either pumping or
dumping.
