Have a feeling there won't be too many of those speckles floating around.

I'd guess most people will lock them right up and trading for them will be a nightmare.

For a supposedly a generational player, these people on UD epack will go haywire. There are some UD epacker with a collection that can set up at a card show. On the first day of UD1 release, ePacker unpacked, or unboxed 30 Bedard SP1s.

The owner or CEO, or whatever you have in Canada, of Canadian Tire is an e-packer. That and some Russian guy go absolutely ham on all high profile releases.

I get the people waiting for the e-pack flood to buy from COMC but RIP to all those who said they'd wait to buy a box off e-pack searching for Bedard as physical boxes were too expensive. Now it's dropped so much (Bedard YG) that it's basically a moot point (as UD wanted) so unless it's Series 1 price you're probably spending more than just buying a box at release lol

Plus Canvas will be out before then, likely dropping it a bit further

So much series 2 was busted that it already feels like it was on Epack TWICE. Picked up huge lots of series 2 inserts (anywhere from 10-25) on Ebay for $1. Bedard Checklist Young Gun is already $3-10 on ebay. E-pack is only going to further that decent other than the digital price for people making the Silver/Rainbow versions/Achievements. If box prices on Epack are inflated then it's going to be worse than normal for people that would bust a box and put it on COMC quick to get those high early sales prices since everything is already so low/plentiful.

Yeah, Bedards have dropped so far that busting the hobby stuff is a giant loss at current prices. I imagine epack will be around 250 a box or so.

pretty typical seasonal variation, out of sight, out of mind, and the hype guys drop far and fast. The OPC stuff nosedived a ton, might pick up some rarer stuff in a month or 2.

Many accounts go crazy on every release. I can think of at least ten whose spending I am jealous of.

Except for you know, his rare cards. Regardless, off-season/end of season dips are the norm, not the exception.

The only thing that may hold value with the S2 release on epack would be the epack exclusive cards. I feel bad for all those guys who paid 5k+ for those Bedard PSA 10s. Even the RAW price of $1200 on release was just shocking to see. Feels truly bad, man.

Everyone that’s been around for past hyped young guns saw this coming from a mile away. Many tried to warn, but the flipper boiz needed something to hype and try to flip a few months ago. Young guns will tank even harder once epack hits.

All I heard about 23/24 Series 2 is "how it's printed to the moon" and "extremely overprinted" yet it's almost THREE months since it released and I've seen retail products ONCE at actual retail stores (IE: not LCS) a week or so after release day.

So whats the deal? why isn't Series 2 overloading the shelves at Target or Walmarts?!?! 21/22 and 22/23 products loaded the shelves but nothing of 23/24 S2... so much for printed through the moon...

don't say flippers either since theyre busy with Wemby hunting, nobody cares about flipping S2 boxes anymore.

Maybe when (if?) epack comes out the physical boxes will pop out at somewhat reasonable prices.

Lots of series 2 retail is being held in the warehouses of the distributors instead of being put on shelves. MJ Holding created their own online system through Walmart. Instead of stocking it, they are selling it for 15-30 higher for blasters and more for megas.

I guess that explains why other retailers web pages that even MJ Holding stocks like Target don't have any series 2 on their web pages but Walmart has an unlimited supply of series 2 retail in various forms at jacked up prices. Seems very shady.

YouTube videos being posted that Walmart has "fired" MJ Holdings as their shelf stocker. Would make complete sense if the above is the case.

SAS Retail Services will take over the distributership for Walmart stores.

People said that because usually no one cares about hockey so it always appeared that way because shelves were fully stocked lol Laffy product was also pretty popular but people just blamed less printing due to Covid for less prouct then

Sucks, hope it gets straightened out soon. My two Walmarts are reliable for a restock on Wednesdays, and today looks like ita not happening.
