Kreider went full Messier!

What a win for the Rangers, I didn't want any part of a Game 7, even at home.

This season has been special for us, I am trying to temper my excitement and not get too crazy about what it could mean

Agreed finally something positive to read about the Rangers in the hockey playoff thread

Nice post I agree.

Re: McDavid. Hate to try to tell the best hockey player in the world how to play but here's my .02.

He needs to play more of a possession game. Hold the puck, be more aggressive with it, and find more shots. He seems to touch the puck for a split second before trying a pass, and they haven't been working.

He has had 1 good game this series. The Canucks have done a phenomenal job on him.

I would say the game he had last night was the worst game he has ever played in the playoffs. He wasn't even a threat. Could not even tell he was on the ice (which is almost impossible when watching him he's that gifted).

Man kind of a heartbreaker for Boston, I had FLA winning the series and they deserved to but a goal with 1:33 left during an elimination game has to be deflating. Basically eliminates any chance of pulling goalie and having time to build some extra attacker momentum.

NYR-FLA......I think winner takes the cup, I'm just not on the Stars recent or Oilers consistent hype train.

Pick wise i'll gave to go NY, just seems they got everyone playing to the level right now.

Stars got hosed, echoes of the Brett Hull toe in the crease, except this time they get the short end of the stick

Absolute bull.

The announcers just said that the situation room just deferred to the (bad) call on the ice.

This intermission discussion is wild.

Hank is an absolute clown with no defense for the no-goal call.

Meanwhile the other guys with brains are openly wondering if the ref “had his draftkings app open.”

Not sure what the point of a video review is if they still don't want to make the correct call.

Respect for the Avs always defending their home ice tenaciously.

No respect for these pro leagues getting in bed with gambling and suddenly giving us the most closely-reviewed bad calls in the history of their respective sports.

At this point the NHL should just use review for offsides and over the goal line calls since they are unwilling to make a call for other plays.

Rumours around here that both McD and Hyman are banged up.
Canuck's physical game taking it's toll. I think Leon is carrying extra lumps as well.
We'll see if EP40 is finally getting his s**t together or if his game 5 was a one-and-done for at least being noticeable. If he shows more improvement then I don't think the Oil are getting past this round, and might be out after tonight.
Should be a screamer of a game 6!

Hope it goes 7 with Edmonton prevailing. Will give Dallas players, especially Hintz, time to recover, maybe, for the WCF.
Hoping for a Dallas/ NY Rangers final with Dallas winning it all.

More or less the same hopes for me. Id be happy as long as the Cup stays out of Canada.

They kept saying that McDavid is fighting something (injury/illness)

It can’t be anything lower body cause he’s skating fine.

He’s not shooting so possibly wrist or shoulder…

His passes didn’t look McDavid crisp, the Hyman goal, the pass was in his skates…

Oilers are going to win, same as Stars, which is why those are the two teams I mentioned two days ago that NYR-FLA would have to go through for the Cup lol
