PPP- It's Peak Pandemic Prices and not the Paycheck Protection Program.
Now that the Peak Pandemic Prices are behind us and with prices of some of the cards back to pre-covid levels- Are you a net buyer (buying>selling) or seller (selling>buying) so far this year (2024), Or are you a prospective buyer or seller who is waiting on the sidelines for the prices to drop or increase more respectively in the future? I am including a poll to gauge the market sentiment.

Real PPP undoubtedly funneled some cash into all sorts of "investments". Would be very interesting to see how many people set up LLCs or LCS businesses just to steal money and buy cards.

If people were doing it to buy jewelry, watches, f'in Lamborghinis, someone did it with cards.

Biggest grift in national history IMO.

Where is the option for what people are ACTUALLY doing "Buying retail wax hoping to hit big rookie cards (Wemby/Bedard/Stroud). I don't know a ton of people buying/selling cards on Ebay right now but shelves are clear for the first time in two years, sans WWE Chronicles lol

I don’t find much good value currently.

I'm a buyer AND seller simultaneously.

As wax prices continue to hold strong (remain the same, if not, increase) and singles continue to downtrend, I'm using funds from sealed wax sales to pick-up PC cards.

I buy what I don't feel like tracking down years from now if its a little high. For the most part though some of these sellers are still high af and terrified of selling a card for what it's worth. I've noticed a lot more auctions with mega high starting prices with zero bids lately. Start it at 0.99 you cowards...

Im always buying and selling, selling WAAAY more than buying which I am aiming to just pick up 1 PC card a month. Finding various niches to profitably exploit can be challenging but I can usually find something.

No baseball
Football: Montana/Rice dual on card autos, Mahomes RCs
Hockey: Gretzky, Crosby, McDavid on card autos
Basketball: Jordan Game Used stuff
TCG: Lorcana Enchanted gem mints

I am a net buyer in 2024 so far and am glad that I am not in the minority based on the poll results so far. I thought more people would vote for "I am a prospective buyer waiting on the sidelines for the prices to drop more in the future"
