But it is a lot different when you're being guarded, which this game he's in is proof of. I think he's missed every jumper and been generally invisible. Lazy passes, not a lot of movement. I'm not hating on him, but the responsible thing is for him to get another year of school at least. Which is what Kyle Lowry did, actually.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Are you implying that a shooting drill performance is more important than what a player has done during games?

More important? No but I don't think they weigh it as heavily as you think. In one drill alone he took half the threes he took for the year. He didn't miss for a full minute. MLB scouts watch cage sessions. NFL combine is notorious for shooting guys up the board. |
