Silovs and 2 bad mistakes did the Oil in tonight

McDavid lost Boeser in the D zone on goal #2
Horrific turnover by Foegele on goal #3

Oilers are one-dimensional and it shows.

agree with the no call in the Bruins game. He barely touched Coyle and Swayman wasnt stopping that regardless.

Maybe, but this reasoning reminds me of the old NFL force-out rule where referees had to imagine an alternative timeline where the defender never touched the receiver and determine if the catch would have been made or not. It's not like crazier saves have never happened in the NHL before.

Any rule that could be rewritten to add more clarity to a call should be written that way.

oh agree it's a wildly inconsistently call. No one knows what goalie interference is anymore.

I just dont think that was worth over turning a goal there.

If the way the Rangers looked on their power play in the last 2 minutes of the first period is any indication this series is going to a game 6. Shesterkin is playing great but they have left him out to dry a few times. Carolina could be up by at least 2.

Carolina's inability to handle NYR's pressure on the PK is crazy

Schneider and Miller might as well have been statues on Carlinas tying goal.

3-1 I guess even if the Rangers win it in game 6 or 7 they wasted a chance to end it early.

The bad sign is that the Rangers quit. Empty netter 4-1

Nice to see prevent defense works the same way in hockey as it does in football. The only thing it prevents is winning.

Rangers still win this series

However I don't think anyone will beat Florida in a 7 game series

They are the toughest team to beat in the NHL

I agree with this

Edmonton will not make even it out of the West imo

They can score goals for sure, but their defense is subpar and goaltending is not much better

Edmonton needs to commit to team defense or McDavid ain't winning anything unless the refs give them pps to push the new golden boy narrative like they did with Crosby a decade ago

Having the Mavericks and the Stars playing on the same nights every game for this round is aging me.
