Okay I'm saying it as thought it long enough. Why do sellers put rookie on prospect 1st cards now? They are not rookies nor is it their rookie card.

2019 Wander - prison?
2020 Dominguez - could still be good, but 33pa in the majors
2021 Austin Martin
2022 Was it Elly or Chourio? Either way they made the majors
2023 Druw Jones - don't look up his stats
2024 Dylan Crews - same

Now this doesn't mean that their werent' other players that ended up being stars like Julio (can you freaking take some peds and hit some hrs already) and witt, more just focusing on who was the top guy being chased at issue.

Welcome to Blowout forums circa 2024. Gets worse every year. My posting has been going down because of it, as well as many others who have stopped posting. Its almost unbearable in most threads. I have started mostly skimming threads and not bothering with posting. I wish some of the Debbie Downers would find some happiness in their lives. And/or leave the "hobby" they hate so much.

Disappointing but expected, Atomic refractors have been replaced by Mini Diamond refractors according to the Beckett product page. I'm sure they'll look fine but the Atomic parallel of the 2023 Bowman Spotlights was one of my favorite inserts from 2023.

i think they removed them from the last Bowman's Best release as well. i guess they want to keep it to Sapphire

Elly is what 2022 ended up being eventually but intially people were paying huge money for Khalil Watson. Im guessing that didn't turn out well for some.

I put paper in my titles. It's to differentiate them from the chrome, which I also put in titles of those cards. It's how people talk. Blue Paper is how I would explain the card to someone if I were talking to them.

Come on, that's excessively pedantic even for BO. Bowman "Paper" is 100% an accepted and widely used term to differentiate from chrome Bowman cards.

Agreed. The idea is to use as many keywords as possible in titles to attract attention.

If it was $2,400-$3,000 a jumbo case --- higher than pre-Covid but not ridiculous - the pessimism wouldn't be as strong. Singles prices have been dropping, many "can't miss" prospects have stalled to begin their careers, and yet wax prices are through the roof. It's a recipe for negative thinking.
