Pittsburgh Card Show - May 4th & 5th

Anyone going to this?

Not sure when they started this but I went twice last year and it was surprisingly good. I mean, pretty much the same as any other show but it's nice to have one close to home. Supposedly they sold out 500 tables for this weekend.

In my 2 previous trips I only bought 1 card & traded for 2 others, but I'll keep checking it out. Sold some stuff there too, so not bad.

I might go. The one in Washington PA?

I also think the Monroeville one is the weekend of 5/17-19.

Huge show now. Getting to be as big as Philly Show, Chantilly, Dallas and Raleigh now.

Very nice crowd.
Lots of tables.
It was a fun time, but sadfully I didn’t purchase anything

Was the show any good? I did not feel like driving the 30+ minutes... I might go to the show in Monroeville, though.

I do enjoy this trend of malls that are becoming more and more extinct being used for these super shows in cards and other things. from looking at one of the videos it looked very big. There was an inside building the size of a Marshalls or Old Navy that contained dealers and then wrapped around the mall was other dealers

I didn't realize there was a store being used, as well.
(I didn't have the time to go to it anyways. I wish I could have spent the entire day there, but I only had 2 hours)

I thought the inside of the mall (corridor, we'll say) was too tightly packed.
