Yeah, I'm guessing a lot of these sellers are going to be getting returns on early throwback mini sales. I think I counted 10 Trea Turners up for sale already.

don't think I "won" by getting selected for the drop - or maybe I did win by not getting picked

This is what happens when a company that hires people with little experience in the collectibles industry takes over - mass confusion

Boxes have been selling for around $90 so far. Only going to go up in my opinion. Someone listed a case for $650 and someone bought it right away. Not much profit on that sale. Not sure what he was thinking lol

Fanatics drop win emails usually go out in a few waves. Just because you didn’t get one yet doesn’t mean you won’t.

Once enough cases are opened the ratio of Throwback:Image Variation:Color Swap will become clear and then each print run can be figured out - if those 3 cards fall one per box, which could be the pattern. True for the first 4 boxes I have seen.

They retained the majority of Topps employees. It's not like they started fresh.

Might have been a dealer who get their case wholesale.

The ONLY thing this has going for it right now is FOMO and perceived scarcity.

The auto checklist is weaker than regular Heritage, and the difficulty of putting together the SP set is going to drive away 90% of set builders.

Idk, if I was a heritage set builder, I might like this release just for the challenge and want people to open more.

The auto checklist is definitely not weaker than regular Heritage. A chunk of the top names from regular Heritage are obviously missing but at least as many “weak” autos are also not in the mini release. It should actually be easier to hit a decent auto in mini.

A shorter auto checklist isn’t the same thing as a weaker auto checklist.

Got shipping confirmation from topps already so at least we don't have to wait till the 6th like the order page stated. Wouldn't be disappointed to "lose" the fanatics drop and avoid the handling & shipping charges they tack on (despite offering free shipping for everything else $24+ today).

You are just grumpy because they didn't do the set exactly like you wanted it. Well that, and the fact that it's pretty much your default mode.

It's a small one-off release that more people are looking forward to than you will ever admit. It's not going to be the product of the year or anything like that, but it'll be a fun break.

Cmon, MFW13 has been a solid contributor to the threads on many products over the years. He doesn't like this one, that's ok.

I'm not sure I care for the "we cant tell you whats in it until you open it" attitude from Topps here. Publishing an odds chart really wouldn't hurt.
