Also, a lot of busts in OL the last 10+ yrs being drafted. I don't care to look it up but I bet the miss rate is significantly higher than IDL/EDGE. The result is Time to Throw being the barometer if the offense can function or not.
Every extra second at the line allows good receivers to be great due to extra separation time, transforms average running backs into solid ones and can turn great QBs into elite QBs.

Not hobby sexy, but NFL sexy.

Could make the difference between losing to or beating Mahomes.

Chargers were working with the OT from Alabama who is projected to be a mid first round pick.

Obviously it depends on how the draft plays out, but I think the most likely scenario is that they trade back with the Vikings or someone. Although I still would prefer Nabers.

If the Chargers could jump the Steelers for JPJ, that would be awesome.

The Chargers had a Top 10 OL ranking at the end of the season on many sites. If they draft a OT or trade back, there will be minimal jersey sales and their home games will be heavy the color of the opposing team until they get to an AFC Championship game. If they make a splash, they make money and the Chargers offense will likely be on every HL video all 18 weeks and then some. MHJ is a legacy player and will live up to it with his father a HOFer.

Harbaugh: “Most people think January 1st [is] the start of the new year. Those that espouse to Christianity, Catholicism, correlate it with the birth of Christ, but us in football? Today, April 2nd: start of the new year.”

It's a good pick and for the long haul, so that's great. They should get a solid WR early tomorrow. That WR wont replace what Keen Allen did last year but I suppose they could build up to that.

I wanted us to trade back with Min and get 11 and 23 but this is a solid pick to team up with Slater is gonna be awesome.

Yeah I’m not mad at it. With who is still left on the board, they should be able to get another 1st round talent with their 2nd round pick today.

Chargers always seem to get big physical receivers. It’s one of the things that’s always really frustrated me about the Chiefs selections at receiver. We always get the small speedsters that rely on their ability to create separation. The film on that Florida State kid looks pretty good.

Really good draft so far. Harbaugh got his guy Colson, and the Chargers desperately need good LB play.

I could see COY for Harbaugh but Mahomes, Jackson and Allen are going to be hard to top with the teams they have built. 5-12 isn't going to be hard for him to beat unless dumb sh*t happens. I can't fault them for picking Alt in the long term and it does look like they avoided a potential diva in MHJ that could derail the young QB. Definitely Harbaugh's team.

The time is near. Only two players on the injury report to start the season. It’s a new era!
