My thinking is, if the Yankees win the WS this year, I can see them letting Soto walk away. They'll have gotten the championship and figure that will pacify the fans for a while. I see them going more aggressively after him if they make an early exit in the playoffs, or not make the playoffs at all.

I think if they win the World Series this year they will think it will pacify the fans and I will be pissed off. I feel a long playoff run especially a World Series win puts more money in their coffer and it is not the time to be cheap. Depending how Soto looks the rest of the season will play a big part also.

How do you watch the games? I live in Central NY (just south of Syracuse) and had cable for years. It was the only way to get YES. I recently got rid of cable and now get YES through Fubo. It's gonna save me about $1700 a year.

If I didn't live in NY I'd probably have to get the MLB package. The nice part about that is you get the Yankee minor league games as well.

Have Fubo, Prime, Peacock and apple and get some short list of mlb network. I told my wife come June I am getting mlb network as that is the plan which will allow me to see the most Yankee games.

So it would cost me roughly 275 dollars for the season if I got the mlb network and yes which doesn’t sound that bad.

Welll Rizzo grounds into an inning ending double play. Talk about a wasted opportunity.
0-0 after 1
