I guess I look at it like this (assuming the whole promoter told TB people one thing and the attendee something else and TB was who signed the objects)
1. Is the promoter at fault - 100% yes. It appears the items were not signed in front of the attendees, so there would have been ample time to stop any unexpected items from being signed. 2. Is TB at fault - 100% no. He signed them. AFAIK there is nothing in any contracts about the "shape" of the signature 3. Is TB an ahole for doing this? - 50/50 he had a contract with the promoter that included signing a set list of items and the promoter allowed other items to be submitted. So he is bound by that, but of course he could have NOT signed them at all which is why he gets 50% ahole IMO 4. The unauthorized items should have been returned unsigned with a signed book or photo as promised 5. We have no idea what the contract between TB and the promoter said as far as items. If they forgot to limit the items limited to books or photos in the contract with the attendees then it puts TB in a tough spot. Basically if TB actually hand signed those items, they got what they paid for.
