The game was pretty cool last night.

I'm glad the minor league umpires suck just as much as the ones in the majors. In the 1st inning, a dude hit a double down the third base line. You could clearly see the chalk kick up when the ball hit the foul line, but the home plate umpire called it foul. That's OK, because that guy ended up walking, the dude behind him got hit, and then the 4th guy up hit a grand slam.

We had seats 5 rows up in a section close to the first base side of home plate. It was nice seeing the Astros minor league team lose too.

My Son wants to go to more games this season. It's only a 45 minute drive from the house and tickets are cheap.

Here's what wasn't cheap. It was Star Wars Night and the Nationals wore special Star Wars jerseys. Afterwards, we stayed to see if we could try and win an auction of one of the jerseys; not realizing they were only auctioning off 6 last night. I know it's for charity, but it was quite ridiculous to see nobody A players jerseys go for $500 - $1000.

Always nice going to minor league games. This is the last year the double A MBraves will be 15 minutes from where I live which stinks because it is good cheap entertainment. Mississippians don’t realize how lucky they are to have any teams in their area this cheap. This is the third franchise that has been lost due to low attendance. The Mississippi River Kings a southern league hockey team who played in Southaven Mississippi also went under but I think the pandemic killed that team more than anything else as they use to have nice giveaways decent prices and decent attendance.

Crazy what they will charge, what’s even crazier is some people actually pay it.
