Yeah she scored, but I am still not impressed.. With how she played at the cup and so far this tournament she is going to have to put together a few A games to make me believe she should at least be starting for this squad.

Is Sonnet playing tonight cause they are in Columbus? I just don't see her as someone who is going to be able to stand a lot of time playing like this.. She is getting killed and had been out of position twice so far.

I agree. Was really just making fun of our timing. She really seems uncertain with the ball and seems to make the wrong pass (or a bad pass) more often than not.

Having Sonnet take the possible GW PK was really strange..

They survived in PK, but probably not their best effort by far.

Never been at a game that went to penalties before that I remember. When Sonnet came up I was like are they trying to make sure everyone on the team gets a shot on goal? Like little league?

Good win. Glad that the soft pen doesn’t become deciding factor. Dahlkemper make in shootout was clutch, and Naeher has ice in her veins.

I think she lived there for a short period or something, but never the less, she had no business playing tonight as much as she did.

I think tonight was something like her 70th Cap also.

Man, I watched Orlando and San Diego last night and Gotham-Washington today, I hate to say it, and it could be due to being early in the season, but the NWSL really has sucked this year so far.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember last season being this bad, but again we had Alyssa Thompson coming in as this year we really have no huge prospect debuting.

I like the league, but the games so far have been pretty blah so far.

Sophia with her third brace of the season! She's in a league of her own in the NWSL. Has 7 total goals, next closest is 4. She might not have the foot skills of other top players, but boy can she score!

Saw Paige Nielsen scoring the winner in the final seconds of stoppage time vs her old team..LOL

Man Angel City is bad, Alyssa Thompson may not be what people thought. She just runs around a lot and really creates minimal scoring chances.
