Default OKC Thunder

As a Thunder fan, I'm glad we got the 1 seed. All the talking heads will talk about their inexperience. 57 wins, COTY, Top 2 MVP candidate and 2 young budding stars to boot with one of the deepest rosters in the playoffs. Whatever the result is this year, I think they get a ring (or 3) in the next 5 years. I think they'll lose to Denver in the WCF and the Nuggets repeat after beating the Celtics.

Did everyone get their Indiana bets in last night?

Quote:
[Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources: The Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to be without two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo for the start of their opening round series against the Indiana Pacers, but are hopeful treatment on his left calf strain will allow him to return sometime later in the series.

I'm going hard on Philly tomorrow night.

I'm not seeing the heat "heating up" this post season like last year.

anyone have any thoughts on Lakers-Pells? Lakers +1.5 on my site.

I think this is what most people were assuming.

They just need to win one of the first two, and they'll be in okay shape.

I think they were 3-1 against the Bucks in the regular season.

4-1 in the regular season against the Bucks with Giannis playing every game... and those 5 games came before Siakam was traded to the Pacers..

That being said the Pacers HAVE to win on Sunday...

I just don't see it this year.

They replaced Strus+Lowry+Vincent minutes with Jaquez+Rozier. Marginal upgrade. I love Jimmy but I don't know if he has another extra gear like he did in previous years.

Also, the two other teams they beat to make the Finals are much better. I would be higher on them if they were the #6 seed but it's gonna be tough beating the Sixers in Philly.

Sixers should beat the Heat easily, but the league still hates the 76ers, got the worst whistles of any team in the final 2-minute report, 11 net bad calls against them.

Cost them the Clips game very obviously which moved us down 2-3 playoff slots alone.

Really worried about Minnesota. Absolutely the worst possible matchup for them, when’s the last time a #1 ranked defense was eliminated in the 1st rd? Vogel’s shell defense is legendary since his days as a Pacers Coach. Suns took away any opportunity for Ant limiting his usual aggressive attack on offense. He had a total of 7 shots in their last meeting.

I think Philly hates themselves more than the league does.

What a bunch of powerpuff girls.

Surely out of the 2nd round this season or do we get new excuses???

Already building in the excuses.

Literally the script ever year.

Over/under on amount of net Laker free throw attempts tonight... considering the asinine amount of FT's the Lakers have shot compared to everyone else??

Cranking up TNT Overtime, I guess I won't be watching Eastern Conference play-ins (ESPN) but sure love this feed. Lebron ready doing that thing with his jersey I saw Nesmith do in the interview after the Clippers.

Rooting for Zion for the sake of younger generation Blowout, but in my heart want to see LA go forward.

So BJ if you are indeed a Pacers Superfan... what was that fulcrum game a couple weeks ago where the Pacers' late game defensive heroics earned them a critical win against a physical opponent... the one where Nesmith locked-in on postgame interview duties? Was it Thunder? Dang, they beat so many top teams when needed. As did all that made it.

And look I don't really respect the contemporary vernacular thing. I mean I'm a writer, a creator, I have done some hip stuff. But I don't stump. More like an intellectual Forrest Gump.

Deflect...

Deflect.

Deflect..

Once again your boy didn't play in the last Pacers/Clip game so what exactly were you trying to say with your latest asinine post?

I was in person for the game that clinched the playoffs for the Pacers...

Were you?

Ok it was on 3-29-24 against the Lakers. I thought that at first, and then like naw.

To quote:

"Holding the Lakers to 90 feels a lot different than holding them to 150"

"Aaron Nesmith a “It don’t show up in the stat sheet” all star. He only got 12 but it might as well be 35"

"Nesmith shutting LeBron down is my favorite. let's go!"

"locking down the postgame interview, too"

"Punk ass Lebron left the court early. Pouting because he didn't get his usual extra 30 FTs."

Nuff said. Nice to send Lebron off crying.

Context:

'Aaron's the best we got:' Pacers hold Lakers to 90 thanks to Nesmith's defensive effort
Dustin Dopirak
Indianapolis Star

Ok now I get accused of hijacking a thread. Simply can't win.

So...

You were wrong.... has absolutely nothing to do with hijacking.. you got called out on your post and once again you deflect.. deflect... deflect

Also.. were you at the last Pacers home game that clinched the playoff spot?

Oh and here is Aaron pulling down his shirt after game, in what I just found out is LeBron style. I don/'t exaggerate, even when I don't say the exact facts man.

And nope I have never been to Indiana.
