Hoping for a strong season for the Reds and their group of youngsters. Also, I agree that the people coming into a thread to continually bash EDLC under the guise of “constructive criticism” or analysis is gaslighting. For whatever reason people like to bash the kid, and if you have that much free time to go on a board daily to bash maybe you have too much free time or need a new hobby.

I think he just wants ruin this thread, I remember him from last year, such a pessimistic individual. Always negative about anything and everything. He obviously doesn’t have a life or a job.

I'm going after Independence Day parallels this year, but unless I get absurdly lucky in my one Jumbo box, I'll have to live without an Elly one as I can't imagine finding one for anything resembling a price I'd be willing to pay. The red foil is a great idea. I'll also be chasing the Easter parallels. Those should be more in my price range for Elly. I'm excited to see what he can do this year. |

While all the takes that I’m pessimistic are warranted I don’t see any critiques that any of my takes were wrong. I’m also the only person in this thread that has been willing to back up their claims. Maybee they will prove to be terrible takes (entirly possible) but I’m at least willing to bet on them beijg correct
Also if anyone followed what I was saying last year with respect to ellly props, then you made a ton of money and you’re welcome. |

If you’re so confident he won’t. then offer say 25-1 or 50-1 odds…..I mean since you go on and on and on and on about Elly…..

I’m offering 3:2 on under .260 for anyone that thinks he’s gonna be in the .260-.270 range: how big of an edge do you need, this is already a huge spot if anyone thinks it’s more likely then not he hits .260

There’s a market where you can lay -180 every game on under 1.5 total bases, to answer your question on why I won’t lay 25-1 (besides the fact that it would be terrible to do).

Interesting article detailing the work Elly has been doing in the offseason on his swing and approach at the plate, including working with Juan Soto.
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/spo...r/72616488007/ Let's hope it pays off! |

We went the entire month of March without even one bump here?
Y'all moved on that quick?

Judging by the lack of interest in this thread, that makes sense.
I also wonder why I don't see the same Instagram circle jerkers not talking about him either. Hmmmm.

I have him on my fantasy team. He has been average so far. And apparently his defense at SS is awful.
But the glut of 2024 cards of him is gonna pull down his entire market unless he becomes a mega star this year.

It's not good. While he can make some great plays, his regular defense is lacking. He had 3 errors in last nights game and looked lost.
