Is there a point to running Port Sales that are so bad that you never will sell them? I keep seeing some of them that are ran by the same guys, week after week. Do they actually think they are going to trick someone or is it exposure? I just have no idea why you would waste the money.

I have one submitted on December 16, 2023 for "45 day" service which hasn't shown up in my account.

The most recent PSA graded card to hit my account was added March 14. I'm not sure when it was submitted.

Does anyone know if you can have two separate comc accounts in the same household? Have a family member move in with me and they want to move their own cards independently

Does COMC provide you with some sort of receipt when they take in-person submissions at shows? I have a larger lot I'd like to drop off at an upcoming show, but for some reason have some pause about the cards making it into my account correctly (probably an unnecessary concern, but alas the small stuff I sometimes sweat). Thanks in advance for any info on in-person submissions.

They either hired a few people or someone is cracking the whip a bit in the warehouse- my 2 month past estimated economy order shipped 5 days before the latest delayed estimate
Expected at my house Monday

I only did it a couple of times. They scanned my bar code and the "submission Wizard" read "x items dropped off at y card show". But they didn't provide a paper receipt, and the submission didn't officially begin until the cards actually hit the warehouse (in one instance, this was 2 weeks after the card show).

Something that I have seen on COMC several times. I have not paid attention to it until now.

Cleaning up my watch list and finding more cards like this.

Normally when a card on my want list is sold the price changes to Not for Sale on my watch list and I click on it, and it is gone. I now see at times when a card still shows a price but when I click on it. It shows Sold but does not show up in the sold area when I click on the set for the card.

I have played around with one card I have for sale and put it on my watch list and marked it for shipment and for sale. It did not show what I'm seeing. I may not have allowed enough time when doing all this changing around.

Any ideas. Not a big thing just was wondering.

Has anyone had any issues with the Verification codes coming back to their account every time they login? It had gone away for me for around 3-4 months and then I cleaned up my computer and it randomly started again. From what I know, I'm one of few people that still has to do this and would love to get rid of it again.

My Jan. 5 hasn't been returned. Finally got an email back and all they said was "soon".

I've had decent sales, but March is the lowest $ amount I've sold in the last 6 months. And I'm 90%+ baseball. March is usually one of the best months. Ebay prices and good and card shows and LCS are killing itl. Feels like lower sales might be COMC's terrible shipping problems.

yeah...I'm noticing what I would call erratic sales the last two months. Some days really good. Some days nothing.

Same here. I am on pace to make about 2/3 as much as I did last March. October and November were hurt by the authentication sign in debacle, but December through February were pretty decent for me.

This is normally a good month and I am adding about the same as I usually do, so I can't think of any logical reason why.

Ports on COMC remind me of the sports cards section on Marketplace, where anything halfway decent is gone within hours, but you see the same entries for overpriced pack lots/mystery boxes along with a few "vintage" junk wax collections for ten times more than they are worth for months at a time.

Marking 2-dollar cards to 99 dollars does not magically make their 50 dollars in cards worth the $500 that they are asking. They must be grabbing one or two suckers a year because listing it every week would add up to about $250 a year per port. I don't get the logic either.

March looks to be my lowest selling month since the middle of 2020. Not a huge deal as I'm actively looking to spend thousands...and haven't really found anything since Black Friday.

I just requested 1100+ cards to ship home. There are over 800,000 cards ahead of mine with an estimated ship date of 5/23. I'll believe that when I see it. Unless things change, I am not expecting them until late summer.

I have made up my mind for the next project to do. Removing all cards on my watch list and adding cards I need. The last time I did that was 1 1/2 years ago.

When I get done, I will request the cards I have to be sent home.

Only have purchased 22 cards in 3 1/2 months. Why? partial the shipping issues but mainly cannot find cards that I'm willing to pay the asking prices.

Hoping to find a few more cards that I have missed.

I really do not know what is going on at COMC with their shipping issues but if it does not improve they will lose a lot of buyers.

Sounds like a lot of work, but it is nice to "get organized" every once in a while. You may have already thought of this, but offer what you are willing to pay for it (wait for counter, decline etc), then remove it. GL with the project.

Yes it is a lot of work but so far over the years that I have done it. It has been worth it. I have found cards that I have gotten from other sites that are still on it. I have found cards that shows Sold but still shows a price on the watch list. I have found the same cards cheaper than the one I put on my watch list. I have found cards that I need and was not on the watch list.

2 hours just to remove the cards from my watch list. I thought I could remove them all with one click but did not find that button. Last time it toke almost a week to go through all my players.

Now to just get started.

The PSA card I submitted on December 16 just hit my account. This was 103 calendar days. The service was "45 day" but I don't know how they count them (for example, if it's just 45 business days at PSA plus transit and processing time).

My understanding is that the app will allow you to save searches, rather than adding individual cards to your want list. This should make it easier for someone who is looking for a lot of different cards, but doesn't necessarily care which copy they buy or which seller they purchase it from.

Another thing you might consider if buying from a desktop is to keep a spreadsheet in Excel of COMC text searches for the specific cards you want, and manually change the lowest price / delete when necessary.

I've also found it useful to bookmark a handful of searches in a folder and then open all of the bookmarks in a separate tab
