Just for the record, this is what unlucky looks like. These are the spoils from two hobby boxes and five blasters. Just remember, for everyone pulling those good creator auto parallels or hard-to-pull sketches, this is what almost $500 got me:
https://rhinosgonecrazy.com/html/ava...omos.html#plat To further pile it on, I didn't even get base cards of Firestar or New Warriors, the cards I am chasing this go around!

I just boxed up a shipment to COMC and the blue surge definitely pop in photos/scans. I think I might even slab my Wolvie. Incidentally… I got one in every blaster pack, but posted box odds say 1:2. Is anyone opening blasters where the blue surge don’t hit one per pack? Maybe they ultimately decided to print half the overall planned print run for blasters?

Edit: just saw side of a blaster box on ebay. It looks like the parallels of base are all doubled in the stated odds compared to Beckett's checklist odds, not just blue surges. But other inserts like Platinum Duos and Super Statistics do match Beckett's. This suggests the reason for base parallels being doubled is because they are separating low and high series, although there is no language indicating this (misleading stated odds on boxes...nothing new in UD marvel products). But no one will complain if the actual odds are better than what's stated. For example Im pretty sure Red Rainbow parallels will actually be 1:12.8 blaster overall (as Beckett says) and not 1:25.6 overall (as side of blaster says).

Anyone want to guesstimate how many blaster were made for something like this? 10,000ish blasters… maybe? That would equate to 200 of each blue surge parallel being printed.

Is it just me or does anybody else think Upper Deck messed up and confused the teal wave and blue surge? the "blue surge" that comes out of blaster looks teal wave and the /799 teal wave looks like something that could be blue surge

I think the Teal wave look more wavy. And while some of the blue surge have curves there it’s not as pronounced as the waves in the marked Teal waves. But that’s just me.

Without looking into anything more in depth- whether it can be gleaned from odds or not- I would guess it’s a lot more than 10k blasters. If I’m not mistaken some sports blasters like topps and Prizm can be in hundreds of thousands. I thought (but would have to go back and check) someone found FUA blasters to be upwards of 75k boxes, gleaned from the numbered /549 retail exclusive oranges.

Then it might be a case where the sold out notice goes on and off over the weeks/months to come. I mean UD Store still has FUA blasters… wasn’t that “sold out” at one time?

They’ve already restocked it once… granted after the first sellout they added a cap of 5 boxes. Maybe they bring back with lower cap. Space Jam blasters were also ones that were “sold out” and added back a few times during COVID… and I believe UD Store still has those.

I went to Walmart to run an errand and they actually had these blasters. The cards are actually back in the normal aisle away from the “behind the counter” purgatory they were moved to at the start of COVID after people were getting into fistfights over cards.

cosmic and gold seismic are my favorite colors in this set and there are a ton of color matches in general. Guessing the superfractors are going to look really nice in this set. Creator Variants are great.

Two from UD coming at some point. Just one decent card would be nice.
