Have fun and enjoy the show. I don’t miss driving in Florida as I lived there for 2 years back in the 80’s and I am sure it’s alot worse now.

Last night's fire department business meeting took forever as it turned into a B fest about the upcoming vote on Charles County's November vote for a charter government, the most likely destruction of the volunteer fire service that will occur if the idiot voters vote it in, and what to do with ambulance replacements; buy 2 new ones, go down to 1 and have the county take over the 2nd one, etc. And of course we voted no on a final vote for a member who's Son stole from the department and that caused some angst.

My 75th Anniversary Celebration & Parade committee was approved. We also had our first meeting last night and I presented all of the ideas I had put into a PowerPoint presentation. We'll have a second meeting soon and we need to start fundraising as it's going to cost a ton of money.

The trip to Cooperstown started out like every other family trip. My wife complaining he didn't want to go, stalling with getting done, and packing. Then of course, the house has to be spotless before she can leave it.

And with every trip, I was ticked with her. In the end, we only left 20 minutes late.

We went to many of the memorabilia stores up here. The amount of awesome Yankees stuff up here that I wanted to buy was amazing. If only my wife wasn't there so she wouldn't see the cost of anything I bought.

Then again, she forgot her glasses at home and couldn't see anything anyway.

We went to the Heroes of Baseball Wax Museum today. It took 10 minutes with the lady unable to run any credit card through their system before she finally gave up and let us in for free. The museum is OK for the size. Lots of Yankees greats in wax. Even on our way out, I was going to see about paying, but a guy was trying to buy something from the gift shop and none of their card readers were still working.
