First psa 10 sold for 5k.......... could have bought 2 McDavid PSA 10s for that much

looks like 500ish for regular bedards and 150-200 for the jumbo.

Edit: Ive been saying all along this will settle into Auston Matthews range over the summer, 3-400 base, and 1k psa 10.

My mistake, I think it was an oversized. I've seen those as low as $200 or so. Regular YGs still seem to be levitating for now. I don't understand the thought that these will settle at Matthews levels though given that Matthews is a far more accomplished player, playing in Toronto, and with a far lower pop count. Let's wait a few months for more product to be ripped.

Side note, I hate the oversized YGs. It's just confusing when you're looking on ebay and virtually nobody collects them.

$5k for a psa 10? Talk about lighting your money on fire. Yikes.

Really wish I could see the pop report on the young guns now that there's a decent amount hitting ebay, but for some reason still nothing on PSA site. I'm in for 3 that dont have the white on the top right edge so far at an average price of 510.

There’s a deluxe YG /250 ending in 30 min for $800. Numbered sounds where it’s at for anyone buying these.

Pop report finally updated, 45/92 graded 10's so far. Honestly better then I thought it would be given the edge issues, but I have to imagine that ratio gets worse cause people are sending in the perfect ones at the fastest PSA levels.

Better than I expected as well, but this will set the table for a lot of upcharges if the first one closes at $5K. Those defintely did not have the top edge issue.

Star Rookies box sets are up to $50 on secondary market. Have you all who ordered from UD direct received yours yet?

People forgetting there is also a 1/1 in these that will cause them to rise until the Bedard is hit (hasn't that I've seen), but then again these suck and no one should buy them so what do I know?

I received about 75% of my order. I think these will perform relatively well long term. With what Bedard sells for I think people could still do ok cracking these.

There are actually 2 1/1’s of Bedard in this set. His last auto sold for $3K.

I'd prob buy that auto over the PSA 10 YG at $5K to be honest. Not saying it would be the crown piece of my collection, but if would be a nice backup if you don't hit out of any of the other products that have his autos, would relieve a bit of pressure while ripping and in the short term (year or two) I could see these have opposite trajectories, even if UD doesn't say it you know he was short printed compared to other autos

A chance, yes. There have been Black Diamond autos /25 the last two years. 21-22 had Trilogy Update rookie autos as well, but I wouldn't hold my breath on those.

So while there may be a Bedard auto in Extended, you're not hitting a Bedard auto in Extended.

There will be autos, it's questionable if Bedard will be one or even should as it wouldn't make much sense to have a Bedard auto /25 + Canvas possible at that price then the next product with just an auto will be $500 + lol but this is the company that put his first "pack" auto in Star Rookies so who knows. I can't really give an opinion as I was completely wrong in thinking there wouldn't be a Bedard card in S1.

It's a good photo, he's playing, not him sitting lacing his skates or something dumb so I think it will do better than the ones where you couldn't even tell which sport they play. Even if there are just a handful of Bedard autos, with the other Bedard inserts and cards, I think Extended at $150 is a better bang for the buck than S2 at $300.

I agree because there are likely no more than 100. People are estimating 22000 sets.

Anyone spending 5k for a YG PSA 10 is either a die hard Hawk fan doing a long term hold or an unserious person. McDavid YG 10s go for 2500-2700 currently.

That's how it is. Hype and potential over substance and what is already known.

Check out some of the prices baseball prospects bring in. And a lot of those guys are still tooling around in the minors.

I'll be interested to see what the Bedard Pop count is a year from now. Seemingly several have found in packs so far which is great!
