This will fail Ebay authentication, right?

Title is BGS 9 yet the card is PSA 8. I'm guessing this will fail Ebay authentication due to this? I've been looking to pick up one for awhile and don't want to tie up a bunch of money only for it to be returned a month later

Contact the seller and tell him to end the listing, fix the title, and relist. I'm not sure, but I would still tell him it will fail ebay auth and get returned to him.

I don't know with any certainty that it would fail, or would they contact the buyer to confirm that they want the PSA-8 that was pictured.

I can’t make any sense of when a card fails eBay authentication anymore. It’s a worthless step to me personally bc it doesn’t really screen for any of the things I care about. But to try and avoid mixups I reach out to sellers to try and get their info and pictures on the same page as much as possible.

It’s a refractor and listed as such. That’s about the only part of the title the dude got correct

No, this is correct labeling for PSA. They call all blue subjects "blue refractors" and red subjects "red refractors" for some unknown reason when "refractor" would suffice.

Refractors are referred to by color because the base set was made up of 90 blue rookies & 90 red veterans, both numbered 1-90 but no letter designation before the card number. Denny Neagle shares the same number as Jones.
