The Virgo Constellation ssp has been manufactured by upper deck to be extremely more rare than the others so they’re not lying. I wouldn’t pay $200 for one but I’ve finished the sketch achievement 7 times and the Virgo has cost me $100-$150 each time. This is Upper Deck’s way of keeping the product from dying because once the achievement is gone the majority of people will stop opening Cosmic.

How do you know this? I don't see anything on the information page stating one SSP is more rare than the other. They list all SSP's are 1:92 packs.

Only reason why I think some folks are claiming this is because 10 less Virgo have been pulled but there are still over 99 cases left.....when all product has been opened, all SSP will have the same population.

There are 7-9 of each of the SSP’s on COMC. I would have expected more of a gap between Virgo and the others…

Because I’ve done the achievement 7 times. Virgo has never had more than 7 showing unredeemed in marketplace. Upper Deck has done this many many times before over the years. They manufacture a “blocker” to keep achievements from going away faster than they’d like. If you ask the forum on epack everyone will agree.

And yes all the ssp’s will be the same amount once product is gone but what will happen is once achievement is done, the Virgo will hit at a much higher rate than the rest of the ssp’s.

Not sure if anyone has sent any autos home but I just got a few from my comc shipment today and these cards are thick. Fit perfectly in 100 pt top loader and the autos are on card and not sticker. They look really nice in person.

I had a feeling the autos were all on card but I like knowing it’s on thicker card stock.

Two recent pickups from comc

Cosmic is actually on the cover of the current Aug-Sept Nonsport Update. So they are clearly lagged behind for some reason.

I like the set. Singles have to be taking a drastic fall I imagine…it’s just the state of nonsports cards that unbranded sets outside of giants like Marvel, SW, and major film/tv licenses have like no chance for long term price sustainability.

Hard to get the detail of this 10" x 14" sketch but it's awesome. Surprisingly a tasteful amount of glitter is used. Never thought I would type that sentence.

i bet some of the sketches look great but I will probably never end up shipping any home.

Just don't know what to do with an 10X14 or whatever it is. (I did the achievement 4 times for context)

Are you planning to sell them? Trying to see if there are reasonably priced 10x14 sketches out at COMC for sale.

Well, I loved this set and I think I’m done. I got each of the 6 signers and a sampling of the sketches and relics. Only thing that might have made it better for me (besides the insane MSRP) would be if the Solar System subset were bigger to include Pluto, other dwarf planets, moons, and basically anything in our Solar System that we have a decent photo of (constellations, and possibly Chalkboard, seem like a bit of a waste). Can’t wait to get these in hand. Here are pics of the autographs, sketches and relics I picked up…

The base and inserts are all thick too. Very nice quality that I did not expect.

I didnt crack any packs on epack but picked up the entire "The Celestial" insert set for ~25-50cents per card and got them shipped home. I love them

I don’t have any in hand yet, but I had to pick up this clipping. I love the concept of using these vintage newspapers and magazines as relics, but the size of the images are huge and don’t translate well to small trading cards (unlike comic books). So great concept, but I’ve only seen a couple of great cuts.

When I saw this one, I had to get it. Apollo 13 splashing down in the South Pacific after a harrowing mission. One of the two most iconic moments of the Apollo space program (the other being Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon). Amazing little piece of history here…

Picked up a few more sketches. A couple from epack trades, one from COMC. Really love these…

Is this the Top gun inscription you were looking for? This one is numbered 2/25.

That one is mine. I had it shipped home so it is no longer on epack. I don't have a need for it. Would rather it go to someone that wants it.
