My Barnes and Noble had monster boxes so I grabbed one. I hope they are all this good!
Dominguez gold. Luis Robert orange ice. Resilient reds rookies (with Elly on it) full photo sp. 2 rainbow foil. 2 retail blue parallels. Fun rip for the cost. |

just finished ripping my case... first thoughts... cards look super nice in person and quality is pretty good (only 1 majorly damaged card in the case, unfortunately a good one)... havent sorted yet but collation seemed to be all over the place.... definitely felt i did well with hits though, cant go wrong with a 1/1!

On vacation in Arizona and bought one jumbo.
The auto was Lars Nootbar. I also pulled a Corbin Carroll Golden Mirror SSP. Oddly enough, no golds or any other numbered. I’ll have to go back through and see if I missed something. |

2024 Topps Series 1 Details
Just opened my lone Jumbo: the good, the auto was of a somewhat relevant player and numbered, 2023 postseason /50 Leody Tavares (sticker). Neither of the relics were manufactured.
2 inserts of Elly 2023 greatest hits The bad, no base card of Elly or Evan Carter The ugly, for the most part no parallels to be excited about, though at least one gold was a rookie, Sal Frelick And congratulations Topps, this box did in fact have the silver packs unlike the last Jumbo box I opened. Is it just me or do the Home Sweet Home manufactured relics seem to have a nice market? Now that they are semi rare and numbered they hold value. Huh.

Just opened 2 hobby boxes to start up my attempt and hand-collating an annual flagship base set from packs. Got one RC each of DeLaCruz and Dominguez so hopefully the other 348 cards are in there, too, but I imagine I'll be a little short.
Not much to speak of from the Silver Packs (no color, Evan Carter the best of the 4 RCs) or the hits (Trout Bat, Tovar City Connect Jersey /199). Did get an Elly Home Run Contest, plus one Gold /2024 and a Red /199, but common players. Base looks sharp, nice photography, cool design and the "neon" really pops under the light, especially the "Future Stars" logo. The Miguel Cabrera card is a fine finale for him. There's a Mookie/Ohtani combo, too, but it'll be a whole lot better once they're in the same uni. Since I don't expect anything big from these boxes, especially given the huge print run and accompanying longer odds on the good stuff, I give it a solid B+, maybe an A- if I'm close to completing the base set after sorting.
