Thumbs up

Yeah it looks like Retail made it out early in some places. I’d imagine mid week it’ll be in a lot more places and then this time next week you won’t have a problem finding it on shelves.

I know it wasn’t the Target I went to yesterday. That place was picked over like it was 2021.

Yea the design is just not for me, but the '88 has some serious nostalgia, unfortunately I won't be cracking much of this if any(who am I kidding I will), but I will be putting together the 1988 set

Has there been any "First Card" sightings yet?

EDIT: And just so there's no future misinterpretation, I'll note; they SHOULD (keyword: should!) also be found in FUTURE, Series 1 Hobby printings.
So if one of us pulls one this week from the cases/boxes that have already been dispatched, what will you say then?

Watch a video of a '24 Topps Series 1 box opening and then watch a video of a 2001 Topps Series 1 or 2006 Series 1 box opening -- which cards are better?

My personal opinion of course but I'm really loving the design this year.

I'm also super-hyped for the 1990 35th anniversary cards next year for 2025 as well. It was such an odd colorful design from when I was a kid, so I'm looking forward to that. Probably one of my favs besides 1987.

My biggest complaint with Topps continues to be the overkill with non-unique parallels (simply colored borders). I'm fine with the Retro Vintage stock, team logos, and SP's. But how many green/red/yellow/black/whatever do we need... ugh.

The biggest complaint, of course, will be the fifty-plus parallel products that will be released.

I agree it would be nice but they have cycled 85-89 reprints over the last 10 years. First it was the 30th Anniversary of 1985 Topps in 2015 up to 30th anniversary of 1989 Topps in 2019 then it went to 35th anniversary of 1985 Topps in 2020 through this year’s 35th of 1989 Topps. It would lead me to believe 2025 will be the 40th anniversary of 1985…

We still have only seen a fraction of what is to come, but it appears as if they have done a great job with this release. People can complain about print runs, but other than that, I think they really put a lot of thought and effort into it. Some releases feel "mailed in" but this one doesn't have that feel. This week is going to be a fun one. Bring on baseball and bring on Series 1!

I really hope this gets delivered early tomorrow for me and doesn't get delayed. According to UPS it just arrived to KY facility on 2/10 (last update) so hopefully it is just slow updating and it is in NC or even being delivered tonight.

I just noticed my case weight from UPS says 1 pound. Is that normal? Seems light to me.
