Yep. I was worried about a turnover but shouldn't have been. He played great and controlled the ball when he needed to.

Great to know now his default is take what the defense is giving him but can also air it out better than anyone whenever he has to.

Man that was great by Mahomes, and he is in that legendary status for sure no matter what people want to say.

But dang, 49ers just went...full anti-win there in the 2nd half. It's amazing to see the difference in a guy like Mahomes and that offense vs Purdy and the 49ers brass.

Mahomes knows a blitz is coming, changes the protection and moves to get a pass away to his guy for an easy completion.

49ers know its a blitz, yet Purdy couldn't keep up and throw/manage the pocket to make accurate decisions.

Man what a game and what a way to close it out. Things are looking so bright moving forward as well, this run could get very ridiculous real fast and I love it!!!

On a different note, huge congrats to Shanahan for finding a way to be a bigger dope at managing in game than Reid. Im very convinced he didn’t know the rules had changed & my buddy thinks he just doesn’t understand basic math. Which is it????

Calling it now: This will end up being the most impressive Mahomes ring for a while.

- On a neutral field in normal weather, the 2023 Chiefs lose to the Dolphins.

- Regular season Josh Allen doesn't blow the game against the 2023 Chiefs.

- The Ravens crapped the bed. 'Nuf said.

- The 49ers were overmatched from the start.

All that said, I genuinely believe this was Mahomes most impressive run. He didn't have a clear talent advantage like in previous years, but he learned how to keep things even-keeled despite all the overwhelming distractions. He earned this ring to a greater degree than either of the previous two.

That said, I think it will be anywhere five-to-seven years before we see Mahomes raise the trophy again.

I can't doubt a guy who won with THOSE WR, legitimately the worst WR play I've ever seen this season. If he can do it with those guys he can do it with anyone, not saying he WILL keep winning SBs, just that it's hard to doubt him.
